Lilith let out a deep sigh, her mind still clouded by the recent events. "I'm sorry..." she murmured, unable to hide the pain that still consumed her.
However, Dante didn't seem interested in reprimanding her, but in understanding what was truly happening. "Want to tell me what happened?" he asked gently, still smiling. He knew that, above all, it was his duty as her husband to understand what was going on with her.
Lilith looked at him, her eyes filled with bitter regret. "I'm nervous," she said, frustration evident in her voice. "I couldn't kill that bastard Lucifer. I regret it. I... I should have finished him off."
Dante blinked several times, surprised by what he was hearing, before letting out a muffled laugh. "Ah... I forgot..." he said, more to himself than to her. Lilith turned her head, intrigued, her expression confused.
