Ch 89: The King of the West [pt1]

Rukia looked at the general following behind her with a sorry expression on her face,

General Meria had wanted to take a breather, but she had ended up getting involved with Rukia's decision instead and was now being forced to entertain their guests.

"We apologise for all the commotion we caused outside the imperial palace today. We did not know that the Saintess also came here to visit. Had we known, we would have chosen another day to visit the palace."

The guard of the Western king bowed in front of Meria.

The guard looked sincere, his head touching the ground and his body tense.

It almost looked as if the man was ready to receive punishment or even have his life ended.

Meria was at a loss.

He wanted to speak up and tell the guard that it was alright. But he could not speak now because Meria did not like his voice to be known.

After, the Saintess was supposed to be female, and Meria's voice was all-around male and deep.
