Caitlyn struggles to fit in and be unique. A freshman at college ready to start a new chapter in her life, away from the pressure of her family. The last thing on her mind now that she's in college was dating, not with the situationship she's in.

Going back to school after a few years at home, Caitlyn felt on edge but not any less excited about going to school, nothing could bring her down from her school-high, especially not her feeling like things are about to change, not exactly bad but not real good either. The voice in her head had been there all her life and was very much pessimistic as she was, so it was easy to dismiss it's derogatory words, and sum it up to her nerves getting in her head. For once in her pretty lame life she felt optimistic.

       The Sunset series is the first book in the Sunset saga, it tells the story of a young woman who finds herself in a place far more different from what she's familiar with, how she struggled to fit in, the reckless life she lived, her  pain and the choices she made good and bad. It shows our flaws in wanting to adapt and be like everyone as well as being distinctive and unique while being like everyone and no one.The feeling of belonging we crave even if it's from the wrong people, the actions we take and decisions we couldn't care less about or think are the perfect choice that ruins us. The Sunset Series

I was on my way back to school and my mom had decided to escort me to the airport instead of allowing me to rent a cab that'd drive me there instead. Dylan had also showed up acting like we were all good and had offered to help with some of the stuff I'm traveling with I'd agreed seeing as they were too much for me and my mum, can't say no to help actually I can but didn't want to cause this was goodbye for us and I didn't mind having him around for the last time,it felt selfish but I wanted to be selfish with him for the last time.﻿
