Chapter 17
Ed and the elders have finally arrived back home. While Wallace, Steven, Winona, and Luvia were going straight to Rustboro City to visit someone.
Grandpa Yun rang the doorbell and after a while someon opened the door. The one that opened the door was a girl with blond hair. Ed seeing her could really confirm that she was really Cynthia the Sinnoh champion.
But what startled Ed was Cleffa in her arms. It looks at them and laughs if Cynthia wasn't holding her she would stumble every time she took a step.
Ed and Ralts were shocked to see their little sister (pokemon) in this situation. The duo look at Cynthia wanting to know what happened.
"Welcome home Grandma, Grandpa, Hello Ed Ralts"
"What happened to her?"
"Well I found Cleffa drunk when I was going to the kitchen to get some ice cream"
"How did she get drunk?" Ed asked
"That we don't know too" Cynthia smiled
"..." Ralts stared at the misbehaving pokemon. ◉‿◉
Cleffa, who was drunk and still tipsy, saw Ralts stare, she then put her tiny paw on her eyes and looked at Ralts again seeing that it was really Ralts she was startled and jumped off Cynthia's arms. But of course she was immediately caught by Ralts who was a psychic.
Cynthia saw this interaction laughed its just that before it was Ed who's in Cleffa's place in the present.
Everyone went inside of the house. When Grandpa Jin saw the group he greeted Grandma and Ed before his elder brother.
Grandpa Yun seeing Jin smiled as he loudly said with excited actions.
"Jin! My brother give me a hug!"
"Wha-" Grandpa Jin was shocked but his brother already hugged him strongly patting his back.
After Grandpa Yun separated from his brother as he smiled at his brother. Grandpa Jin want to cough but he didn't want to lose face especially to his granddaughter. He was already losing face in house due to his wife now he couldn't lose another point of his granddaughter's adoration on him.
"So tell me what's the news about your new grandchild" Grandpa Yun said.
"You guys talk, I'll be putting Flygon and Gyarados in care." Grandma Talya said as she walk towards the ecology park .
"What is it about?" Jin asked confused to what Talya was talking about
"That, well the two pokemons were pregnant" Grandpa Yun told Jin about the situation of the two pokemon.
"Wait, are you talking about your Garchomp and her Flygon's child?" Jin exclaimed as he knew about his brother's Garchomp as it was his youngest pokemon but could compete with pokemon with higher rank. He could also say the same for Talya's Flygon.
He also remembered the strength of the first child of the two dragons, it had peak gold aptitude which became platinum when it evolve to Garchomp.
With Garchomp, Andre swept through the Sinnoh advance conference and Kalos' elite league conference.
But in the championship game he lost the preliminary rounds when he met his sister for his first match and he could only defeat his sister's two pokemon. For his second round he was faced against Argus which he could only beat Argus starter pokemon Talonflame.
He was so unlucky at that time having to fight his sister who has more arsenal of elite and champion pokemon and Argus who has champion three champion rank pokemon at that time.
Thinking about Cynthia Jin asked Yun about Cynthia starting her trainer journey.
"Sure, but we need to tell Talya about it."
"Your okay with it?" Jin asked after all their would be probability that the child would be a quasi-legend Garchomp.
"Yeah, after all Ed already had a bunch of pokemon to take care to. If we add a Gabite to the flock he can't fully train it." Yun said as he really didn't want his grandson to take their path after all.
On the other hand Cynthia and Ed who was asked by Grandma Talya to get something heard their conversation. Cynthia also knew about Garchomp and how strong it was and the stories she heard about them.
"You're okay with it Ed?" Cynthia asked Ed
"I'm okay with it, Garchomp is strong but I like Flygon more" Ed said as evem though Garchomp was strong but Flygon was his first dragon type in hoenn games.
Add it that he like Flygon's design and now in real life he like the pokemon more when he saw Flygon.
Cynthia smiled as she knew her cousin like Flygon but what if the child is a Trapinch. She want to ask her cousin but she saw Ed went inside.

On the other hand Ralts took Cleffa to their room and saw Wurmple slowly crawling.
Ralts could see that Wurmple was so full to move. He asked the glutton and its answer enlighten Ralts about how Cleffa got drunk. She has an accomplice and it was Wurmple.
Wurmple who was happily narrating its 'accomplished deal' with Cleffa saw Ralts smirking at him which made him shiver.
Roselia who was called out by Ed to accompany Ralts shook his head as he look at Wurmple's innocently revealing his crime.
After Wurmple's revelation, him together with Cleffa was taken by Ralts as their big brother was planning to put judgement on them.

Ed and Cynthia left after taking the items Grandma Talya told them to get. Leaving the two brothers again on their own.
"So now about your new grandchild that from Alan" Grandpa Yun asked
"Sigh, that bastard is really don't remember his parents after having a girl now a child. If the news about Sonia and Argus. What if the news didn't get to Kanto do you think he would care to notify us?"
"..." Yun want to laugh as his son was really a debauche at least his sons were only blockheads.
"So do you know about Alan's partner?" Yun asked
"Hahaha, yes and she's a top trainer in Kanto and also a top model." Jin happily replied that his son got the getter.
"..." ' They're really the same' Yun sighed as he look at his brother luckily his brother's other children take on their mother Carolina.
"So will they be coming this week?"
"Yes, also why did you guys decide change our venue?" Jin asked as he remembered that the planned place to celebrate is Kalos but changed it.
"Well it's because we persuade Sonia amd Argus to celebrate here" Yun told Jin how Ed got to have the same ability as his grandparents.
"What? Ed had the same ability as you and Talya?" Jin was shocked because none of Yun's child had the same ability as them. No their children didn't have any special ability. But it was compensated for their intelligence in both battle and life.
He told Jin that he and Talya was planning on training Ed's special power. But they never plan to tell that they just want their grandchild to accompany them.
Jin nodded but suddenly he asked as he remembered that this two were one of the best trainer in the world.
"How about you guys also train Cynthia too? While she wait for her too."
"That's a great idea" Yun smiled as he happily accept his brother's proposal after all just like Ed, Cynthia was a grandchild that he and his wife dote to.
Jin who heard his brother's fast reply couldn't help but feel annoyed to his brother and regret his decision.
But he could only sigh as he was not talented as his brothers and he couldn't help his granddaughter to become a great trainer.

Grandma Talya was tending with Flygon while Ed and Cynthia was beside her. They look at the elder as she took care of Flygon, Cynthia immediately learned to the things the elder taught while Ed couldn't help but take note.
Grandma Talya taught the duo how to massage pokemon as Zigzagoon, Mawile, and Spinarak. The two learned a lot about the usage of massage to their pokemon.
Grandma Talya let them try on the three pokemon. Cynthia made no mistake as Zigzagoon has a relaxed face on its face. Ed on the otherhand was almost biten by Mawile as he made mistake but he learned from experience as he correct it.
Grandma Talya smiled as she could see that Cynthia was talented and fast learner while Ed need time and experience example to digest and learn.
'I know I'm just an average student in my past life but for goodness sake I'm always an honor student you know. But why I couldn't beat someone that younger than me if we add my two life.'
Ed sighed as he could see his friend who was always a top student on Cynthia.
While the duo was practicing they heard Flygon's growl.
"Royaaa"

Grandma Talya immediately rushed towards where Flygon is. When Grandma Talya check Flygon's condition she was shocked as it was only a few days when they knew Flygon was pregnant but now she's giving birth.
"She's giving birth!!"
When Ed heard it he was shocked as it was fast and he could feel that it could be premature birth.
'Sytem what happened?'

[Due to her being Champion pokemon she couldn't absorb those energy that could increase the growth of an elite pokemon and below.]

Ed wanted to banter with the system but he heard Flygon's growl that he anxiously looked at Grandma Talya who was placating the pokemon. The pokemon labor continued as he and the others were anxiously waiting for Flygon to finish its labor.
Then Ed saw that Flygon give birth to the two pokemon but when a part of their body got out of the world they became egg.
'I don't know why but I just saw that Flygon could just deliver the baby without it becoming an egg'
Ed looked at the two eggs. One was a gray egg with a red pattern on its bottom.

Ed then continued to the other egg and this time he was sure it was a Trapinch egg as it has orange and some white patterns.

"It was a twin!" Cynthia exclaimed as she saw two eggs in front of Flygon.
The adults nodded to each other as Macy brought the aptitude tester. They were happy when they saw that the eggs had good aptitudes.
Grandpa Jin and Yun smiled as Cynthia could have had a good start with Gibble's potential.
Then they looked at the orange egg as they identified that it had a silver aptitude. But they never thought that Flygon would give birth to twins. They looked at the kids, they saw Cynthia was looking at the Gible egg since it came out even though she didn't know about its aptitude.
She always felt that it was fate and that with Gible her life's wheel would start moving.
As for Ed they saw him looking at the orange egg with his shining eyes. The elders looked at Ed and shook their heads.
The elders thought that Ed was scared of Garchomp when Andre's Garchomp tried to entertain Ed. That was the first time they heard Ed cry and it was so loud. Then Flygon swoop down and throw her son out before she entertain Ed that made the boy laugh.
Note: They're talking about the Ed before transmigration.
'Luckily they don't have to fight' Grandma Talya sighed as she was afraid that the two would fight for the pokemon.
Based on the past Ed she knows if it's just Trapinch egg Ed won't give up even what aptitude it is but if it's Gible then he won't even look at it.
The adults sighed that the two children didn't care about aptitude but if they could get their favorite pokemon. They know that Cynthia always idolized her uncle and granduncle Yun when they used Garchomp in battle. As for Ed they thought that due to Andre's Garchomp event Ed always favored Flygon.
If Ed knew their thoughts he would surely say 'Is this why my body froze every time I saw Garchomp?'. He thought that he was just a character where the author just
put a weakness on him at a whim.
