CHAPTER 30: Death Squad: Mila.

"I need your death squad team." Leo said looking at Steven expression.

"You know that my death squad team are the elite of elite right?"

"Yes Mr Steven" Leo said.

"You should also know that if you want to command the death squad, you have to defeat the current leaders right?" Steven asked again.

"Am well aware of that" Leo nodded. "Good now come with me." Steven said walking outside the mansion, Leo nodded and followed him.

After 5 minutes of walking they got to the death squad special training ground.

"No slacking around! Move your slow ass, train harder!, even if the country is in a peaceful era! No one know where the enemies will attack. We must always be ready for any unexpected attacks!. NOW MOVE FASTER LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!"

Gotten to the base they heard the voices of different platoons captain. Death Squad have the total of 200 soldiers with four captains which controlled 50 members each. When the platoon captains saw Steven they shouted.

"SALUTE!!"

Hearing there word all the death squad members stood up and saluted the commander at once. The first captain was surprised and quickly walked up to Steven and asked respectfully "Commander what are you doing here? What about your health?"

"I feel good iron fist, am here because someone want all the death squad under his command, he wants you guys to go to his base and defend it." Steven said with a smile.

Hearing these all the death squad members looked at Leo with a frown, after a while iron fist asked, "Does he know the death squad logic?"

"Hey!!"

The commander nodded, he was about to speak when a voice sounded. Everyone looked at the direction of the voice seeing a young lady in a military uniform, long legs, and a stunning curve figure. What make people keep there distance from this beauty was her cold eyes, very cold eyes.

Seeing this woman everyone face changed slightly, even Leo face changed seeing her. He was so happy that he said out loud. "I want her."

Steven expression changed hearing Leo word. "Am sorry Mr Leo, you can't have her you can have the death squad. That is our deal."

"Mr Steven I want her, you can exchange all the death squad members for her." Leo said taking his stance. Steven frowned deeply and was about to disagree when the young lady cold voice sounded.

"You want me? Who do you think you are?" All the death squad members shiver hearing her cold words. This cold woman is the one and only female holding a major rank in the military. A rank above the captains of the death squad but lower than the overall leader whose hold the rank of a colonel who was also Mr Steven right-hand man. In the military base they gave these cold beauty a nickname known as the "Cold queen."

Leo frown hearing her, he was about to say something, but she continued while walking towards him. "I hate all those young wealthy generation who came to the base to asked us to be there bodyguards, I hate weak people" she said the last one with a disgusted expression.

'Wow, she is something else, she thought am those wealthy sons and daughters of top ranks families who never go anywhere without bodyguards.' Leo sighed.

Leo didn't answer potentate but asked Mila, "What will I do to make you follow me?"

"What will you do?" Mila was a little surprised with Leo question and added with a smirk. "If you win three rounds against me in a competition I will follow you."

"And..., What are these three training?" Leo asked with a smile. 'These will be so easy.'

The first competition Is easy, we will carry a bag filled with rocks running around the obstacles on the track, the one with the fastest time wins." Mila stopped to observe Leo expression, seeing him remained indifferent she continued "the second competition is shooting practice, each of us will be given a sniper rifle to hit a target at 30-meter distance." Seeing Leo face till remained unchanged Mila face turned colder, and she said "the last competition is fighting, we will face off each other, anyone who falls his opponent first wins." She looked at Leo raised two fingers and said "if you win 2 out of these three competitions I will follow you."

"I accept, I hope you keep your words"

'He agreed? Is these country bumpkin a fool?' This was what everyone was thinking except Mr Steven and sunny his right-hand man, Leo have showed them his skills, and they know full well that Mila will lose to him, as Steven want to object Mila continue.

"Good, if you want to be arrogant you should have the capital." 'Look at his small physique, I just have to teach him a lesson.'

"BUT...?" Steven was not yet settled and was about to speak but was cut off my Mila. "Grandfather, I have given him my word, he won't get injure or anything so you shouldn't worry about his background or health, he accepted the competition himself so he will be fine." Mila thought her grandfather was worried about Leo background and identity that why he was trying to stop her.

'That's not it, Am not worried about Leo at all, but you.' Because of the spirit stones Leo gave him to eat which restored his vitality have already shown him the powers in them, the problem is... he didn't know how many spirit stones Leo have eaten and what realm he's in.

Seeing her grandfather silent, Mila turned to Leo and said. "Let start"

Leo nodded, and two death squad members brought two bags filled with heavy rocks. A normal human will find it difficult to even walk with these bags filled with rocks to talk of run with it and passing obstacles in the process.

Mila started first, picked up the bag and put it on. A death squad member who was the timer, looked at the wristwatch in his hand and said.

"Go!!!"

With that Mila shot out like a bullet, running on the track dodging all the sand bags and shape spikes on the ground, jumping and running between different obstacles. Everybody was stunned by her speed, stamina and agility.

"It looked like our cold queen have gotten faster than the last time"

"Yes, she is so cool"

"Wow"

Words of admiration and awe came out of the mouths of all the death squad members watching, A smile appeared on Leo face.

Gotten to the finish line she removed the bag breathing heavily, after a moment she looked at the timer. The guy looked at his wristwatch and announced to everyone. 8 minutes and 47 seconds.

"Wow my new highest record" Mila said with a smile looking at Leo with a smug look, even though she was out of breath it was worth it. 'This country bumpkin won't be able to suppress 8 minutes.'

Leo looked at her with a smile, picked up the bag with one hand putting it on. Seeing these everyone was a little stunned because Leo picked up the bag as if it was empty, 'a non-trained individual won't be able to lift this bag filled with heavy rocks that easily.' Everyone have these same thought looking at Leo with a frown, apart from Steven who till remained calm even sunny was a little surprised.

Leo put on the bag and walked to the starting line, after hearing the "GO" signal he moved swiftly dodging all the obstacles with ease, to him, he was like running in a park. He also suppressed his speed before these guys think he was a wizard or using any machine to cheat.

[You know you are cheating right?]

'How?'

'That's Why I reduced my speed.'

Leo shook his head and focus on running. Seeing Leo running around the track dodging all the obstacles swiftly everyone was dumbfounded, "is this guy till a human?" Someone asked.

"Is these till a speed of a human, how can he be these fast?"

"Awesome"

The death squad members were in an uproar, seeing Leo speed and agility which was more amazing than Mila's. Gotten to the finish line, Leo stopped drop the bag after a while he looked at the timer. Seeing Leo looking at him. He snapped out of his daze and said incredulously. 5 minutes and 25 seconds.

"5 minutes?, he just broke the highest record of 6 minutes, how is these possible!?"

"Or are we in a dream?" Someone asked looking at Leo with a bewildered look. Leo looked at Mila and said "the second competition"

Hearing Leo, Mila snapped out of her daze and said "Let go to the shooting section." She stopped and looked at him saying coldly "don't think because you win these round you can win the others" with that said she walked away.

Leo shook his head and was about to follow her when he heard potentate voice in his sea of consciousness.
