CHAPTER 36: Defeating The Ancient Creature: Near Death Encounter

"GRAAA....!!!!"

The creature growl in anger as Mila water attacks collide with him. In result of having a disadvantage toward Mila attacks, his attack is reduced by 40% while Mila attacks are increased by 40%. But even with these boast of strength she can't penetrate the creature defense. The gape in their realms is just to big. If only she's in a higher realm or have formed her core, then she might have a chance to injure this creature but can't kill it.

He dashed towards it, raised his sword and slash down vertically at the creature. The fire creature didn't back down but met his sword attack head on with his claws.

"CLANK..." the sound of blade hitting steel rung out.

"What the fuck?" Leo was a little stunned, 'how can these creature claws be this sturdy, like steel.'

The creature raised his other hand and smashed down at Leo. Leo dodged back with a somersault. And shot out again catching the creature off guard, slashing his blade at it lower leg.

The sound of blade cutting flash and blood spraying out echoed around the cave, with the monster painful shriek. The creature turned around and slash at Leo with it claws, but at that moment an ice spear struck his head. Causing the creature to turned toward his attacker. When he saw Mila he charged at her with endless rage.

Mila face turned pale and with a wave of her hand, countless water attacks rose from the water ring, shooting out like a cannonball heading toward the charging creature.

The creature collided with the water attacks, but his speed didn't diminish or reduced but instead got faster. The next moment the creature arrived in front of Mila raised his claws and smashed down planning to smashed her to a pulp.

Out of no way a silver blade came in contact with the monster claws. "Do you forgot me?" Leo teased and push the creature back with all his strength. Mila used the opportunity and send a water spear while strike the creature in the face.

The creature stabilized himself after moving 5 steps back, looking at Leo and Mila with endless killing intent.

"Don't look at me that way, let me show you what being a dark enhancer meant." With that said he vanished from sight. With the skill "stealth" which help him hide his presence, he also activated the skill "Pentagon fighting technique" boasting all his attribute.

The creature looked around after a moment he charged at a particular direction, blocking Leo sword. "What!!!, he can detect me, that didn't matter." Leo said and disappeared again.

The creature looked around, not seeing Leo he turned his flaming head to Mila, with a raised of his hand a dense wave of fire shot out heading toward Mila.

Leo face changed dramatically seeing these.

Mila was speechless watching as the raging flames shot toward her. Leo appeared in Front of her. "Mila activate your barrier. Mila nodded wave her hand and the water ring spread taking a form of a big water shield in Front of Leo.

The fire blasted the water shield, scattering it instantly and colliding with Leo invisible barrier. Fortunately the water shield have reduced the power of the attack while Leo barrier neutralized it.

Leo sword shone with a blue glow, with black eerie lightning appearing time by time. 'When I become stronger I will be able to do these myself.' Leo looked at the creature and charged with a terrifying speed. The creature didn't back down but charged at Leo meeting him head on.

With a slash, Leo cut off one claw of the creature.

Mila listened to Leo plan and nodded in understanding, hearing the last part her face changed slightly. "Are you sure about these Leo?"

"We have to stop that creature, don't worry I will be ok." with that Leo charge at the creature while Mila raised her two hands. Her eyes turned Crystal blue, like the deep sea. Countless water burst out from the ground.

He charged towards the creature and engaged in a hide and seek battle. Attack the creature in one side and disappeared with his skill "stealth" appeared again and attacked then disappeared again. He repeated this attacks over and over again trying to move the creature to their trap.

"Come at me, you fucking bastard!" Leo roared at it from a distance. The creature flames burned even fiercer and attacked Leo with full force.

Mila raised both of her hand, joining her ten fingers making a cycle. At the same time all the waters around move, trapping the creature in it.

"Graaaa!!!"

The creature roar and slammed his body and claws on the barrier.

"I can't hold it for long" Mila said with gritted teeth.

Now the most dangerous part of the plan. Fight the monster inside the water cage as the waters will lower the monster strength. Leo flew inside the water cage without hesitation, meeting the creature face to face.

The creature roar in anger looking at Leo with pure bloodlust, if you look closely you will discover his flames are dying down slowly.

She held Leo head and placed it on her lap, Leo coughed out a mouthful of blood look at her with a smile. The creature really got him good.

"He did it" Mila looked at Leo who was sleeping peacefully, took out her phone to make a call, seeing her signal bar she frowned.

"What!, No signal in these damn cave!" She said a little frustrated, looked at the entrance of the cave, then at the golden gate. "No, what if something else attack Leo in this state." She gave up the Idea to leave Leo only.

"He said he will wake up after 15 hours. That will be hard to believe with his injuries, but I have promised to believe in all his words, let just wait and see."

"What the hell, it's already 7:00 PM, then 15 hours from now Is 10 Am tomorrow." Mila said brought out a bag of chip and started eating with her sword beside her.

"Leo please wake up" Mila said looking at Leo handsome face.
