"These twists are starting to annoy me."

Kenjaku let out a long sigh as he watched the two sorcerers enter. It was irritating that they resisted so much, but he couldn't say it was unexpected. Jujutsu sorcerers had always been persistent, even 500 years ago.

Crack!

Blinking as the shattering sound echoed once more, he turned his gaze to the two death paintings to see them plummeting into a black void.

'It seems that hermit is helping… That doesn't surprise me.'

Tengen's support, in Kenjaku's eyes, was irrelevant. Kenjaku knew well that they must have a plan to counter him, but he doubted it would be something that forced him to reveal more cards than necessary.

Tengen was intelligent, but not exactly a good strategist. Creativity wasn't his strong suit either, so Kenjaku doubted the hermit could come up with something he hadn't already considered.

So, the most plausible strategy was to defeat him in a direct confrontation, using these two sorcerers…

It wasn't a bad strategy, he had to admit. Yuki Tsukumo and Nanami Kento—while the former was a special-grade sorcerer with an unknown technique, the latter was a strong first-grade sorcerer with a technique that made his attacks dangerous to anyone.

A complicated fight, but not really a tremendous risk. Yuki was an unknown factor, a sorcerer whose information was sealed tight, making it difficult to find any clues about her technique, especially with the elders dead. As for Nanami, as a first-grade sorcerer with vast experience, he should at least be stronger than Choso.

If the two attacked him together, it would be a pain to deal with them. But…

It would only delay the inevitable.

Lambs sent to the slaughter—that's all Kenjaku could see in front of him. It was presumptuous of Tengen to believe that the two of them would be enough.

Kenjaku felt he wasn't being treated with the respect he deserved, and that irritated him a little. He had expected, at the very least, a small army of sorcerers, but it seemed Tengen was incapable of rallying the Jujutsu society against a greater evil…

Truly, what a disappointment.

The Jujutsu society had never been so fragmented, and the funniest part was that much of the reason behind it wasn't even his fault! It seemed the stars had aligned perfectly for the execution of his plan.

Of course, Kenjaku wouldn't give all the credit to fate—after all, he had been planning this for a long time.

That was also the main reason he felt so confident.

At this point, with the pieces perfectly in place, Kenjaku couldn't see a future where he was defeated.

"Heh, my taste for hardworking guys hasn't changed."

With an unreadable expression, Kenjaku turned his attention back to the two sorcerers, noticing Yuki watching him with trembling lips, as if remembering something funny and trying to hold back.

"But look at that… The guy who does everything for the plan." Yuki smiled.

Kenjaku narrowed his eyes, feeling strangely irritated. He didn't understand what the woman meant, but something in her smile seemed to mock him.

"Tsukumo, don't get distracted, he's dangerous." Nanami moved to her side, his characteristic blunt sword glowing with cursed energy.

"Oh, try to relax a little."

Nanami's eyes narrowed. Relax? How the hell was he supposed to relax when facing a monster like this? With just one look, Nanami could tell that Kenjaku wasn't someone he'd want to face alone… In fact, he felt he wouldn't even be able to put up a good fight if it came to that.

The disparity between the two… seemed as clear as day.

Yuki, noticing the hostile look from her companion, sighed as she shrugged her shoulders, taking a step forward while clenching her fists. "Alright, alright. Let's beat this guy until he becomes a decent person."

"Don't stray from the plan."

"I know."

Kenjaku watched the interaction between the two sorcerers with disinterest marking his face, his eyes following their movements only as a means to prevent a surprise attack. But noticing that they had no intention of making the first move, he raised his hand and decided to set the pace of the battle himself.

!

With a massive black shadow forming behind Kenjaku, the air was filled with cursed energy as the shadow took shape—a massive, anthropomorphic curse resembling an Indian elephant.

"Looks like we're starting off intense, huh?" Yuki raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I'd like you to show me what you're capable of. After all, you watched my previous fight, didn't you?"

"Oh, right! You want a power demonstration! If that's the case…"

Blinking curiously as Yuki summoned her Shikigami, which coiled into a ball in her hands, Kenjaku barely had time to react when she kicked it toward him.

"This is what I'll give you!"

!

The massive curse behind him exploded into pieces, but before he could even process how it had happened, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up as Yuki appeared at his side with a burst of speed.

'Where does this strength come from?!'

Boom!

Taking a direct hit, Kenjaku found himself unable to block properly, the force behind the attack so overwhelming that it shattered both his arms, sending him flying like a bullet.

'Huh?!'

But just as he was about to hit the limits of the barrier, his eyes caught movement at his side—a blunt blade striking his ribs with such force that it made him vomit blood as his body was sent flying in another direction.

"I missed by a little." Nanami tightened his grip on his sword, watching Kenjaku's body roll awkwardly on the ground before abruptly stopping as it hit the barrier's limits. "I'll be more precise next time."

"Next time…?" Far away, Kenjaku stood up with smoke rising from his wounds, his expression serious, a stark contrast to the disinterest from before. "Confident of you to believe there will be a next time.

I've seen enough."

Nanami's single eye widened in surprise as Kenjaku began to bring his hands together, but before he could take a step forward to stop him, the curse user leaped to the side as Garuda flew toward him like a ball, Yuki already close to him with her fist ready.

"If you think it's going to be that easy, don't be mistaken!" she shouted as she threw her punch, but this time, Kenjaku was prepared, ducking at the exact moment to avoid it.

"I never thought that." A smug smile spread across his lips, causing Yuki's eyes to widen as she realized her mistake.

Bam!

Her body was pushed to the ground by a colossal force, everything around Kenjaku seeming to suffer this effect for a moment before he dismissed it.

"Black…"

But as soon as the effect faded, his attention immediately turned to his next opponent, Nanami, who had exploded toward him.

"It won't work." Sending a wave of curses toward the sorcerer, Kenjaku retreated with a leap as all of them were cut down with a single strike.

"Flash!"

The numerous black lightning bolts spread after the slash, and Nanami, realizing his target was missing, didn't stop his momentum as he continued his charge against Kenjaku, the curse user launching countless curses while retreating, only to see the sorcerer cut them down with ease.

'What a combination…' Noticing Yuki already getting up from the previous blow, Kenjaku gritted his teeth in irritation, his eyes turning to Nanami, who continued to charge at him relentlessly. 'So annoying!'

With a swift advance, Kenjaku caught Nanami off guard by closing the distance in the blink of an eye, his hand firmly gripping the sorcerer's wrist to prevent him from attacking with the sword.

"Garuda!"

But just as Kenjaku was about to unleash a point-blank curse attack, Garuda whipped toward him, forcing him to release his opponent and retreat with a leap to avoid having his head split in half.

He clicked his tongue in irritation, but he didn't have time to lament how well-synchronized the two were when Yuki charged at him, the woman's fist flying toward him like a death sentence. With a duck, he was met with a knee, which, thanks to his sharp reflexes, narrowly avoided turning his head into mush.

Yuki was frustrated at missing both attacks, and grabbing Kenjaku's shoulders, she tried to pull him into a headbutt.

Bam!

But she received a strong impact as her body was pushed back by a wave of curses, her teeth clenching before she exploded the curses with her punches.

"I'm already tired of this." With an impassive tone, Kenjaku turned the moment Nanami was about to reach him, sending a wave of curses so large that this time, it was impossible for the sorcerer to simply cut through, his body being carried away. "Domain Expansion…"

Bringing his hands together in a quick motion, Kenjaku's cursed energy spread for a moment before completely concentrating behind him.

Nanami, considerably injured by the curse attack, clenched his lips for a moment before his body plummeted as the ground beneath his feet opened, leaving only Yuki staring at the opponent with rigidity.

"Womb Profusion!"

A tower of flesh and cursed faces rose imposingly behind Kenjaku, the absence of a barrier imperceptible to Yuki, who, believing Tengen would be able to dismantle the curse user's barrier, crouched down while joining her hands to raise her simple domain.

A failed attempt at defense, proven when it began to shrink at an alarming rate, causing her to stare at Kenjaku in shock.

"Did you really think that would work?" Kenjaku mocked, his eyes turning to the totem behind him for a moment to notice its surface slowly disintegrating. "Such an obsolete strategy… It's no surprise that Tengen is the only one executing it.

I'm not like you, old friend. I surpassed this long ago."

Yuki desperately charged toward Kenjaku, her simple domain shrinking more and more.

"Watch as I destroy your last hopes for this cursed society!"

Boom!

As the barrier around Yuki disappeared, she was unable to defend herself as her body was brutally crushed against the ground by an absolute force, disappearing into the rubble as Kenjaku watched victoriously.

Crack!

His tower disappeared, the barrier of the tomb shattering along with it.

"Oh, so you destroyed the Sunyata barrier to take my domain with it? Well, I regret to inform you, but it's already too late."

Landing gracefully on the ground, Kenjaku smirked as he noticed Yuki's bloodied and brutalized body on the ground.

"..!"

But, catching him by surprise, his body acted on instinct as he leaped back, narrowly avoiding a whip from Garuda's body, which hadn't disappeared—an indication that Yuki was still alive.

Crack!

And with a shattering sound coming from behind him, he turned to see a blunt blade advancing toward him, his arms raising to block, only to have his elbows split in half by an attack that struck his weak points.

'Damn it!' Kenjaku's eyes glowed with irritation.

Quickly retreating, he prepared to send a wave of curses at Nanami, but his attention was taken when he noticed movement at his side. Unable to block properly with his broken arms, a punch landed squarely on his face, his feet preventing him from being dragged away.

'I'm tired of these twists!' He spat the blood accumulated in his mouth, and with his wounds already steaming as he healed them, he turned forward to see a bloodied Yuki and an injured Nanami charging at him. 'They're going to attack me incessantly now. I need to hold out until I recover from the mental exhaustion.'

"Tsukumo, heal yourself!"

Nanami shouted as he was the first to reach him, Kenjaku avoiding numerous strikes from his blunt sword before hitting the sorcerer with an elbow that pushed his head to the side.

But Yuki, who took advantage of the brief moment to recover from her severe injuries, continued Nanami's charge with a whip from Garuda, Kenjaku narrowly avoiding the devastating attack as he retreated.

"You're not getting away!" Yuki clenched her teeth so hard they seemed like they might break, her hand gripping Garuda tightly and slamming the Shikigami into the ground with such force that it shattered and sent debris flying upward, leaving Kenjaku suspended in the air for a moment.

A moment Nanami took advantage of, leaping toward him and striking his torso with a slash that nearly split his waist.

Boom!

Kenjaku's body hit the ground hard, reverse cursed energy working quickly to reconnect his severed waist, allowing him to stand up and see the two sorcerers running toward him.

"Let's end this now, Tsukumo!"

"Yes!"

Kenjaku narrowed his eyes. In his current state, still unable to move properly due to the injury to his waist, he seemed to be in trouble. In fact, this could even be considered checkmate. Unable to defend properly, it should have been the final move to end the evil that was Kenjaku.

"...!"

But, unfortunately for these poor sorcerers, they ended up taking too long to build this moment.

And in a fight like this, every second can cost your life.

Boom!

Nanami's body was abruptly pushed to the ground, but Yuki, slightly delayed, narrowly escaped, her face irritated as she realized Kenjaku had recovered from his exhaustion.

'I can't stop! I've already noticed that the gravity effect only lasts 6 seconds, so I'll take advantage of that…'

Grabbing Garuda, as soon as the gravity effect faded, Yuki whipped toward Kenjaku, the curse user ducking under the attack and summoning a curse that was immediately destroyed by a single strike from the sorceress.

'Now!'

With a burst from her legs, Yuki closed the distance between them in an instant, her fist aimed at the curse user's head, but narrowly missing.

"It was a bit boring to prepare this during the fight." Kenjaku, firmly gripping Yuki's wrist, revealed a small circle of curses spinning in front of his face—a mini Uzumaki that appeared before the eyes of a defenseless Yuki, who could only watch in shock. "But it was worth it."

Boom!

A beam of pure cursed energy exploded in Yuki's face, the woman dazed and stumbling back.

"Tsukumo!"

Nanami, who had already gotten up from the previous crushing, immediately tried to advance to help her, but Kenjaku greeted him with another mini Uzumaki, hitting him with a concentrated beam that narrowly missed his head, taking off a part of his shoulder and pushing him back.

"I should have used both on you." And with one target out of commission, he turned to see Yuki kneeling, her breathing heavy as she seemed unable to move properly. "But he would have been a problem later."

"Son of a bitch." Yuki cursed, but clenched her mouth as she felt blood rise in her throat, unable to stop it from spilling from her lips.

Bam!

She prepared to heal what she could, but a kick to her face that broke her nose made her close her eyes in pain, her neck being stomped on with such force that she felt it might break at any moment.

"I enjoyed this fight, I admit." Kenjaku, pressing his foot on her neck, said with a somewhat sadistic smile, his eyes looking down to see her struggling to breathe. "But in the end, your efforts ended up being futile… It's truly a shame. Unfortunately, you won't be able to witness what comes next."

Yuki sent him a threatening look, which made him sigh in disappointment. "Well, I feel like you wouldn't appreciate the show anyway."

A wave of curses concentrated in his palm. "I would have loved to talk with you, Yuki Tsukumo. Your discussions with Suguru Geto were somewhat… interesting, albeit simplistic. Maybe in another life? Well, I don't know.

I'd have to die to find out what's on the other side."

Cursed energy pulsed from the wave of curses, and Yuki, seeing it aimed at her face, could only close her eyes, a mix of anger, disappointment, fear, and shame taking over her features.

"Die, as a human."

Knowing that she was going to die, and on top of that, having this idiot above her gloating… She just wanted to land one last punch on his face before it happened.

'I'm sorry, Choso. I won't be able to teach you what it's like to be human.'

As the attack was about to be fired, Yuki simply waited with open arms. She might not have won, but she did everything she could. Now, she wouldn't be afraid of her fate.

She would accept it gladly. She just hoped the new generation could handle what was to come…

No. She knew they would…

They were Jujutsu sorcerers!

Crack!

"Huh?"

Kenjaku's eyes widened in surprise as Tengen's barrier shattered beside him, his head turning to see a fist inches from his face.

"Black Flash!"

The fist hit him with overwhelming force, countless black lightning bolts spreading in all directions as his face was deformed by the punch, his body flying away like a cannonball and hitting a wall with such force that it exploded into rubble.

"..."

Yuki, who opened her eyes to see what had happened, found herself shocked when she saw familiar pink hair standing protectively in front of her, cursed energy surrounding his body like a mantle that embraced every part of his being.

"Lately, I've been saving a lot of people with my entrances…" Turning to her with a bright smile, he said in a playful tone.

"I hope this doesn't become a routine."
