In war no one's right

"Jewy." Wolf called out.

She stopped and turned to face him, her expression that of a wild dog.

"Go fuck your self, I'm out of this shangans." For a second she let her mask slide off but soon caught herself. "You and I stand no chance against that thing. Nothing in the text has even maintained something like this…"

"What text?"

She slipped again, no low born is allowed to know of the prophecy. She thought for a second of killing him then shrugged it off.

"I'm leaving, don't follow me!" She commanded.

"You said… I thought– that we would leave together. I'm sure the church will deal with whatever heresy was committed here."

She started walking again, her body hunched and face clenched.

"Leave me alone." She hated how indecisive she was being. "Or I'll kill you."

"But." Those words hit home. They felt like they were gonna tear his heart apart. He had no choice but to cling to hope. "Remember all the things you wanted to do."

"I made it up, okay! Is that what you wanted to hear? I have a people, im betrothed to grand king Yarhe. I'm not even supposed to be here. I never loved you." She couldn't even be sure if those words were true. All those years playing house has an effect on you. "I used you to return to my people."

"The Yarwony?"

"You heard. Yes, in fact I am a member of the Yarwony tribe. You know what that means right?"

"What?"

"Not even in a million years, not even if you become an immortal, not ever would you be permitted to marry me. It's forbidden by the tribe and executed by the church. They would have us both burned at the stake."

"So?"

"SO? You retarded fool, I don't love you, and I've never liked you enough to die with you."

"Is that– true, you have been taking advantage of me?"

She said nothing, all she did was walk away.

"Let that bitch leave." The Wisp said behind him. "I still love you."

"You don't know me. You love my work nothing more."

"Don't say that, you might hurt my feelings."

"Fine, if you love me. Then help me find someone to report to. This incident can not be let to continue." Any sadness left in his posture was gone, but still hung heavy in his voice.

"That's the Night's Ghost I know and love." She started skipping, her heavy armor clanged and cracked.

"The nearest town is Kingstown, however the nearest city is Blackenhill. Which one do you think is the better choice?" He said although he already had an answer.

"I'm fine with whatever you chose."

"Kingstown it is then." He said as they broke off into a run.

Jewy quietly watched from the sidelines, till they were out of sight and then she ran in the other direction.
