Battle

The queen smiled, letting her holy power flow over her, devouring her. She began to glow, her eyes spat out rays of unsullied light.

The well trained paladins cycled her, not allowing her to get a move off. Like lightning Alex ran into the fray, his attacks were so fast even the experienced paladins struggled to keep up. Arthur however found this fun, a whole new challenge.

Out of all the ranks the difference within King is the highest. Grand Kings are a whole a step above normal Kings. It just goes to show how much of a steep curve Emperor is. That being said, entering peak sovereign is almost impossible. It is where the genesis come to die, the number of people in all of history to reach that rank can be kept in a tiny notebook, with all their names and specialties listed out in big font.

Jorge stepped aside unwilling to just watch, he moved turds the dragonkin.

"Friend, are you ready for help?"

He only managed to get out one word, "please."

Jorge placed his hands on him.

"Hele."

Jorge's legs tingle, they burn, his muscles begin to spasm. His whole body began to heat up.

The dragonkin's legs gradually began to regrow.

All spells have a cost/prerequisite, like how Snake requires an answer to a question via words or body language, or how ice builds up on the body of Willam. Others may be harder to spot but they are there, Jorge's cost is pain. If the person gives full consent then it can be them who takes the pain, but if it's say half consent or forced then it would be none other than Jorge himself who gets all the pain. The same pain as losing a limb, or a mere cut, his power requires willpower. It would easily drive a lesser man insane.

Jorge screamed. This is his sacrifice as a saint.

Wolf slowly walked down from the stand followed by Wisp. A kid stepped out before him.

"Wo—lf, Lynx and Jackal are dead." Badger cried.

Wolf didn't know how to respond to that.

"Those fools had it coming." Said Wisp.

Wolf pushed Badger out of the way and continued walking.

"Snake wants to—talk to you." Badger added.

This made Wolf stop.

"Why?"

"He told me that I wouldn't even understand if he told me. So he needs you."

"Where?"

"In the waiting area, he said go alone."

"What did you say!" Wisp screamed.

"No, we can trust Snake, I'll go alone."

"But..."

"No buts. This is something I need to do."

"Fine, I will be with my father, tell me when you get back.

Wolf turned around, and slowly walked out of the auditorium. Wolf knew something was off, Snake does not speak to anyone. He was always too afraid of accidentally using his spells. But now he went out and sent Badger to get him. There is an explanation, if this a trap or not will be decided shortly.
