A massive rip in the fabric of space and time leaves Space command's deep space fleet stuck on the other side of the rift. Meanwhile alien ships from another dimension arrive on Earth en masse on the other side of the divide. Captain Maguire, a decorated graduate of the Space command academy, whose unorthodox approach to duty is also his strength in a desperate bid to defend commands his starship the Sandawana into the rift in a desperate bid to defend Earth. 
Arriving on Earth he initiates the counter attack to repel the alien ships from Earth.  Other starships of  Space command's deep space fleet arrive on Earth to support the Sandawana's fight against the alien ships. Under the vicious barrage of lasers and missiles from Space command's deep space fleet, the alien ships begin to withdraw to their own dimension. But as they retreat the aliens launch a ground operation and take a senior Space fleet officer captive. 
Captain Maguire is forced to pursue the aliens taking the fight to their home world.

Interdimensional, a starship trilogy

"We must flush them out from Engineering", said acting captain Lucinda. 


"Easier said than day", said lieutenant Alex Bara. "They will have embedded themselves into the power storage cells. How we go about this is we have to draw them to come out on their own". 


"We could isolate Engineering from the rest of the ship's systems",suggested acting captain Lucinda. 


"That could work but it would have to be a coordinated effort", added lieutenant Alex Bara. 


"I know all of the Sandawana's systems would have to be taken off line at the same time for it to work", said acting captain Lucinda. 


"The only catch is we can't do it right now. We still need the Bulba to help out with adjusting the shield to match with the voltage being sent our way", said lieutenant Alex Bara. 


"Maybe that's what the Bulba are counting on, that we will not try to do anything against them while the threat of literally being blown out of the water", said acting captain Lucinda.
