In the superior most of our body, deep into our skull, lies a huge clump of tissue made of interconnected nerve cells. The brain. The brain serves as our center of mental and motor processes. Without it, we would be like the dead. It's the most vital organ in our system, but it's the one that is not fully understood. Since the beginning of time, many mysteries have been hidden inside our brains, waiting to be discovered and understood. But despite the difficulty and dedication of experts, they still fail to uncover its hidden secrets. Well, not for long. A private group of scientists experimented intending to unlock the remaining capacity of the human brain. All they wanted was to know, but what they did was to reveal. Despite their success in discovering and exposing its secrets, the world became closer to danger. A danger they unintentionally unleashed.

The Mindbender's Journey

The feeling of wonder still lingers in my mind. Those wolves are definitely not earthly, but why weren't they detected by Dao? 


"Alex?" Dao called out to me through the earbuds. 


"You need to get out of there as soon as possible. The monster is moving towards the center of the glade!" she informed, prompting Sky and me to exchange glances. 


"Roger that," I replied, then turned back to Carlo. "The monsters are on their way here; we need to leave," I announced, to which he quickly nodded. 


"What is it, Alex?" Jerick suddenly asked. I glanced at him and informed him about the approaching monsters. "That's a problem. According to Officer Torie, the forest is too dangerous, especially with children with us." 


"But staying here will be a greater problem," Sky stated. 


"We can hover the plane outside," Officer Torie suggested.
