VIGOR: SIXTY-THREE

ALEX POV

"Positive, Alex," Dao said, immediately showing us the laptop. "The forest was filled with monsters," he added. Dozens of red dots surrounded the said forest. They weren't too many, but just enough to ambush and take down a group of soldiers.

"How is that even possible? I thought they went after the Glias?" I asked in astonishment.

"Maybe they didn't receive the call," Sky speculated.

"That's not possible," Dao countered. "We know they can hear their leader even from miles away," Dao pointed out.

"Then why didn't they follow the others?" I asked again.

"I speculated that maybe they don't belong to his domain," Dao stated.

"You mean, they follow a different leader?" I asked, receiving a nod from Dao. "And who would that be?" I added, but Dao just shrugged, indicating he didn't know.

"I don't know what you guys are talking about, but I want your help, Alex, in rescuing these people," General interjected.
