In the superior most of our body, deep into our skull, lies a huge clump of tissue made of interconnected nerve cells. The brain. The brain serves as our center of mental and motor processes. Without it, we would be like the dead. It's the most vital organ in our system, but it's the one that is not fully understood. Since the beginning of time, many mysteries have been hidden inside our brains, waiting to be discovered and understood. But despite the difficulty and dedication of experts, they still fail to uncover its hidden secrets. Well, not for long. A private group of scientists experimented intending to unlock the remaining capacity of the human brain. All they wanted was to know, but what they did was to reveal. Despite their success in discovering and exposing its secrets, the world became closer to danger. A danger they unintentionally unleashed.

The Mindbender's Journey

"Do you still want more?" I asked Alissa after she finished her food on her plate. She shook her head, indicating that she already had enough. "Just stay here, I'll get some water," I informed her, and she nodded in response. 


I was about to stand up when someone suddenly blocked the entrance of the tent. Two bottles of water were offered to me, which puzzled me. I looked up and saw Sky's face. 


"Take it," he said emotionlessly. Feeling defeated, I accepted the bottles and thanked him. I thought he was going to leave, but he sat on the ground and watched me and Alissa. I just ignored him and quickly opened one of the bottles. I handed it to Alissa, who promptly accepted it. She took big gulps of water until only half of the bottle was left.
