VIGOR: SIXTY-EIGHT

MAICA POV

Knowing that there would be an attack three days from now was just... scary. I knew I had been tested several times in conflicts and fights, but when it came to Glias, the fear I felt was different. If you were going to let me choose between Glias and ghosts, I'd rather choose ghosts than them. They were just way too evil — and scary.

We were here in Alissa's tent, watching over her since Alex and Sky went to check on her mother. And speaking of the two, we found out that they had already made up.

"I'm glad they've made up," Trisha remarked while braiding Alissa's hair.

"Me too," I agreed.

"Was there a fight?" Alissa asked in surprise, smiling at me.
