Without it, we would be like the dead. It's the most vital organ in our system, but it's the one that is not fully understood. Since the beginning of time, many mysteries have been hidden inside our brains, waiting to be discovered and understood. But despite the difficulty and dedication of experts, they still fail to uncover its hidden secrets. Well, not for long. A private group of scientists experimented intending to unlock the remaining capacity of the human brain. All they wanted was to know, but what they did was to reveal. Despite their success in discovering and exposing its secrets, the world became closer to danger. A danger they unintentionally unleashed.

I couldn't help but worry about Alex when I saw the number of people he would have to face. Sky counted them all as forty-six, and in my opinion, no, I was sure, Alex couldn't handle this. I knew Alex was powerful. He even single-handedly killed the monster back then. But if you think about it, even these people have limits. If you combined their strengths, I was sure it was double Alex's. Not that I didn't trust Alex. I was just worried. He saved so many lives, including mine. So I couldn't fully comprehend what would happen to him. 


"Let's go!" Sky whispered and started to walk slowly towards the parked vehicles, just a few meters away from us.
