In the superior most of our body, deep into our skull, lies a huge clump of tissue made of interconnected nerve cells. The brain. The brain serves as our center of mental and motor processes. Without it, we would be like the dead. It's the most vital organ in our system, but it's the one that is not fully understood. Since the beginning of time, many mysteries have been hidden inside our brains, waiting to be discovered and understood. But despite the difficulty and dedication of experts, they still fail to uncover its hidden secrets. Well, not for long. A private group of scientists experimented intending to unlock the remaining capacity of the human brain. All they wanted was to know, but what they did was to reveal. Despite their success in discovering and exposing its secrets, the world became closer to danger. A danger they unintentionally unleashed.

The Mindbender's Journey

"How did this happen?" Maica asked in a panic. Flames engulfed some of the buildings in the camp. Screams of fear and agony echoed to every corner of the place as people frantically ran away from the risks — fire, falling debris, and monsters. 


We didn't expect what happened. We were awakened by the sound of gunshots. It was still early morning, so you could notice the fire burning. The fire was caused by a fire specter that we couldn't locate. All we knew was that it had caused significant damage. 


Some of the soldiers were fighting the monsters, and we also didn't know where they came from. We didn't have the chance to ask the General how this happened because everyone was busy evacuating civilians and battling the monsters.
