I woke up in the morning feeling a bit off. Deciding to get a small start on the day, I set my sights on building a tiny structure, something modest like a small base, even though it was still early. Feeling super tired, I opted for a stroll around the river to wake myself up. While wandering, I came across a rather large lizard. "Little" is an understatement; this thing was pretty big. It seemed friendly, so I offered it some beef jerky from my survival pack. After accepting the treat, the lizard wandered off.
Following that little adventure, I headed back to brainstorm the design and structure of the fort I planned to build to protect myself from dangerous creatures. The no-smell spray I had was a huge help and would probably last another two weeks at most, so I knew I had to get the fort ready quickly.
I decided to start with the base. I gathered around 43 branches and laid them flat on the ground. Then, I began digging out a platform and placed sturdy sticks around four trees. My initial construction served as the foundation for the small fort, a task that took quite a bit of effort. I spent the evening outside by a campfire, watching the animals. It was pretty peaceful, for the most part. There were a few thrilling moments, like watching dinosaurs hunt. It was quite interesting to observe.
I watched as animals built shelters and fetched water. By the time it hit around 11 PM, I decided to call it a night, feeling that tomorrow was going to be an epic day.
Author's Note
Sorry for the short chapter. I'll edit and make it longer later—I'm just pretty tired today.
