A good gift!

"Attack the Gremlick to the right!"

BANG!

William punched the Gremlick in the face while avoiding the big nails that it was trying to scratch him with.

There were 2 Gremlicks in his territory yet William was not worried at all.

One of the Gremlick was running toward the defense bot with wariness while the one in front of William didn't care much.

SHOOT!

[+10 Tower Points]

A shot came out of the defense bot after 3 seconds and hit the creature before it could come to it.

'Perfect!' He exclaimed in excitement while hitting another punch at the Gremlick's gut.

William had made a mistake two days ago where the defense bot got hurt and he had to use points to make its durability go back to 500.

It was because he was not fast enough to give the command and he had to pay the price for it too.

Now his strategy was to give the order in a split second when the monsters would arrive from the fog.

It helped give the defense bot the right amount of time to get prepared and there had been not a single time where the defense bot missed.

"Attack the Gremlick in front of me!" He shouted while holding back the only Gremlick left.

He dodged the barbaric kicks and the nails while also giving some of his own punches and kicks too.

Just when he heard that 'CLICK' sound from the defense bot, William crouched down instantly, and without any delay, an arrow hit the Gremlick right in the gut.

William knew that while he was in between the shot, the defense bot would not shoot and just keep changing its position and trajectory and he had already planned for it in advance.

The Gremlick screamed and staggered yet it did not die instantly forcing William to kick the creature right at the chin with so much force that the Gremlick got knocked out on the spot.

'This is so exhilarating…' William thought giving that perfect kick that he could not back on Earth.

He was sure that if it was a human, the jaw would have started to hang out of the socket already yet these Gremlicks were tougher than their feeble body would suggest.

"Defense Bot, hit the head this time."

William said and looked back at the machine.

SHOOT!

Another arrow came and hit the Gremlick right in the head making William shake his head.

'If I give it complex orders or very specific ones, the time becomes unknown…'

The last time he gave an order like this, the defense bot took 11 seconds to complete the said task.

This time, it was safe as William was sure that the Gremlick was knocked out for good.

William did not have a single need to use the sacrificial tomb all this time and with the increase in the vitality points from leveling up, the exhausted points in vitality had also come back.

He read the congratulatory messages in the end and quickly went to the tower button again in the hope of getting something good.

[+5 Tower Points]

"Tsk"

"Defense bot, stay on alert."

William shouted and went inside the tower to get the rewards for this tower.

'Something good, something good, something good…' William kept shanting and with a single press of the button, a message popped up in front of him.

[Reward for the wave completions generated.]

[+2 Tower points, 1 crude bone dagger.]

"Yesss!!" William screamed while looking at the ceiling of the tower, his scream was so loud that he had to cough a few times after it.

Before he knew it, a white light flashed and William didn't dare look at it as it was too bright. Bright enough that even after closing his eyes, he could still see the light.

But when the light faded, William saw a big knife in front of him.

He quickly went in and grabbed the bone dagger by the hilt.

It had a very good grip, William observed the blade of the dagger, it looked sharp and pointy at the end.

The blade was whitish yellow and it was in such a good condition that William could not believe that it was made of a bone.

It was the size of William's arm below the elbow.

He swung it around, the first time he had used a dagger, he had honed his fist fighting all this time yet now time wanted him to change a little.

'With this dagger, things can get much better…' William kept swinging it here and there and went on doing it till he was too tired.

The child inside him had come out, but it was not his mistake, after 16 waves, he was finally given a blade. His future was looking less unfortunate now.

He finally sat down and looked at the dagger with even more detail. After a few minutes, a frown formed on his face.

"… Couldn't I have made the daggers with the bodies of the Gremlick or the hounds I dealt with?"

William couldn't believe it, all this time, he had the opportunity to do something for himself yet the lack of creativity and knowledge had made him lose the opportunity all this time.

He had already made the two Gremlicks he killed in the 16th wave into Tower Points.

'Forget it, what matters is that I have a weapon now.'

From the thought of the weapon, William remembered again about Tom who also had a sword with him.

He quickly shook his head not wanting to think about it yet he took a small warning from Tom's situation.

No matter how great of a weapon he gets, he could still get hurt or even killed due to his carelessness.

William kept the dagger carefully beside him and closed his eyes to observe his core again.

The core was the vitality that was getting pumped all around his body.

In simple words, the core was like a small ball of light, it could even be seen as a bulb yet strands of white lines were coming out of it and going around the body.

William could see most of its trajectory now as his proficiency had reached level 3.

These strands of white light moved to every inch of his body mixing with his organs and even the bones.
