Valerian ran through the maze-like paths of the underground level of The Cage.

The five Magi were still hot in pursuit. He could hear their footsteps getting closer and closer.

No! No! No! The young dragon started to panic.

He was no match for five Rank 2 Magi. The moment they caught him, he would be truly done for. He had to reach the storage unit where Adam was before it was too late.

Although he didn't remember the exact route that led to the storage unit, thanks to the connection he shared with Adam, he was easily able to figure out the directions.

Within the next minute, he had finally arrived in front of the metal door.

"Brother! Brother! It's me! Open the door!" He started screaming out loud, pacing in front of the mental door in sheer panic.

Behind him, the sound of footsteps got closer and closer. Valerian's heart started to pound wildly. He had never felt such fear and nervousness before.
