The negligence of the guards, who saw the common folk as nothing but mindless cattle, allowed Lu to slip into the group undetected and sneak into the city. Lu considered sneaking away and mixing with the city's homeless before making a pass at the castle.

However, he soon discovered he didn't need to think about how he would enter the castle. The common folk the guards had gathered were being brought to the castle.

They didn't get to enter through the front, which Lu found was a shame. But he didn't mind entering a basement from something like a kitchen entrance in the back. Inside the castle was inside the castle, no matter where he entered.

However, Lu frowned as he looked around. It didn't seem like there were any ways or paths for him to go to the castle's upper floors as they walked through an almost mine-like tunnel leading to the depths below the castle.
