Lu sprinted through the area with spinning blades larger than him during the brief pause between groups of sacrifices toward the side of the underground cavern with almost no people.
There was the entrance, the sacrifices to the right, the black robes to the left, the egg in the center, and a net of blood on the floor opposite the entrance. The last area was Lu's path to the black robes. It was the only place where he would be able to take a few steps before the guards intercepted him.
It was contrary to Lu's hopes, but he aligned with his expectations as the guards weren't shocked by his sudden burst of speed. They reacted as soon as he broke off.
Fortunately, at least, they couldn't just rush across the array to catch him. Lu didn't have the same inhibition, and he ran like his life depended on it, blood splattering in his wake.
Lu didn't look back, but he didn't need to since the guards started moving to intercept him in front of the black robes.
