Chapter 59

Harrison secretly left the house of his mother. After preparing himself, he called a taxi to go to his office. Smiling while on the ride, but there is an email message on his phone. He is not expecting this, 

unless a client is willing to invest in his company. For him, this is a miracle; after a scandal, he became pessimistic that his image will be fixed.

Fingers crossed; he finally opened the email. The name of the sender is intriguing, Upon checking the background, he found out that Kelly Portales is trustworthy because of her multiple branches of business. He sent an appointment to meet him later this evening, he was willing to look for best regards on this matter.

Jackie immediately opened her email; she wore a wide smile. "If this will be the way to have you, I will always do this even every day."

She walked playfully and went to her room. She showered herself and went to a fashion salon. Cherishing the pamper treatment, she was dreaming of how Harrison would be attracted to her. But she has another 

plan, if her sensuality didn't work, she would provoke Harrison to come out on Xander's mind then the problem solved.

"Ma'am, we are done. Would you like to avail another treatment?" She was awakened by the hairstylist.

"U-Uhmm… I am sorry, I didn't notice I was sleeping. Thank you for your great service, it had a fantastic result." She checked her hair in front of the mirror. "Here is your tip, take it please."

The hairstylist chuckled. "You have a very good mood today, huh? Are you serious about that, you tipped me with 10,000 pesos?"

"Yes, I am quite sure. Have a nice day indeed. Ciao!"

It is already six in the evening. Harrison wore a descent and passionate suit, something charismatic with his eau de parfum. After gazing at his golden wristwatch, he heard an incoming car outside. He looked at the pocket mirror and sprayed a mint on his mouth. He sat erect and fixed his hair as a footstep arrived at his table. 

"Hello, Mr. Fuentabella…" A familiar voice of a lady registered in his mind.

A text message went on the phone of a masked man riding in the car. It says 'Be ready, just wait for 5 minutes before you click the button. Please make sure that the resto has implanted bombs.'

He replied, 'Areglado, Madam! No worries, everything is settled.'

"What are you doing here!" Harrison immediately stood up. "I know you; you are not Miss Portales. Don't tell me you set up this meeting just to meet me. I will go now."

Jackie grabbed his right arm. "Please don't leave too soon. I am the messenger of that person. Are you not interested in her? That is a missed opportunity if you ignore that, so don't leave me… let us negotiate the potential investment if you will allow me."

The scheduled message arrived at the masked man. 'Please make chaos. My first plan didn't work, I need you now.'

The time elapsed slowly and something bad happened. Harrison doesn't have an idea of the evil plan of Jackie. Just after a few seconds, he heard an impactful noise from the second floor. The customers ran 

and shouting terrifyingly. 

"W-What is going on?" Harrison's heart beats like a drum and faster. When he smelled a fiery smoke, he started to hyperventilate.

"Harrison… Harrison, what is happening to you?" Jackie worriedly checked him. "Help! Somebody help!"

The masked men went inside the resto and met her. Before the fire became larger, they lifted him and brought him inside the car.

"Now I am yours, please take this and meet your darling," Jackie whispered and sprayed water on Harrison's face.

As expected, Xander is now back. He coughed and slowly woke up. "Where am I?"

Jackie hugged him so that Xander didn't even notice her face yet. "I missed you so much, Xander. Thank you for coming back. I am already here; I am yours forever."

Xander recognized the voice, and he was not expecting to hear it. He pushed her back and Jackie's eyes rounded.

"What's the problem, Xander? Didn't you miss me? It's me, yours Jackie. It's been a long time!" Jackie attempted to kiss him on the cheek but stopped with his arms.

"Where is Hale, have you seen him? I have been looking for him for a very long time. Just to be clear, I am not expecting your comeback. I don't buy your time; you didn't give me time before when we were in a relationship. I don't have interest in you now, so leave me alone I need to meet someone I truly love, and it is not YOU!"

"Stop the car for a while!" Jackie commanded the driver.

Xander went down and Jackie followed him.

"Let me explain, Xander. You might misunderstand why I didn't give you time. My life was so complicated, my family was struggling with communication. I needed to give time for myself to understand our situation. Please understand, Xander. Please!" Jackie almost yelled and started to cry.

"When I was too tired at school, did you approach me for comfort? And when I saw your social media post, I just saw a man dating you! How dare you! I was just your second option; you didn't protect our 

relationship. You are so selfish; you are just 

caring for yourself!"

SLAP!

"I'm sorry huh, I value my family. But to tell you, our arrangement didn't work. And that is why I am here because I am too worried about your business. Our parents agreed, so we must work on our part!"

"I don't need your help! I can manage, my love is not worth of money. Go fuck yourself and find a man who loves your wealth and your body too!"

Jackie could not respond, so she went back to the car. She sobbed and pressed her chest. Xander also cried, he reminisced but not too long. He cannot forgive Jackie whatever it takes!
