Overnight Exhaustion

The night was not easy for Asher.

Paranoia loomed over his mind nonstop forcing him to think about all the dangers that might be heading over to him. The noise of the forest that he found to be 'normal' turned out to be the most common of them all.

There were a lot more sounds that he had never heard or experienced before.

He had been thinking of finding a place to sleep and rest for the night, but once he heard all the sounds that a forest had to offer, Asher did not have that thought again.

Even if he wished too, the sounds of the forest would simply not let him have any peace. This in addition with his previous encounter with the leopard basically cemented a night of unrest for Asher.

He had no idea how he ended up getting through it as the last thing he could properly recall was the Tidemother sinking down into the western Horizon.

Even that was something he had barely seen due to the forest canopy.
