Asher could see the conflicting thoughts in the eyes of the girl and knew that she only needed little push.

"You don't have to go alone, do you?" Asher spoke. "You do have your people. You have Knight Clyde and I'm sure there'll be other knights your family can send you with." He suggested.

Hearing that, Aria's eyes gleamed as she finally made up her mind.

"Yes! That can work!" Aria said, almost jumping up. "Will you come with me Clyde?" she asked.

"Of course, my lady." Clyde replied. 

"Now I just need to convince father." Aria said, knowing that there was still one last obstacle.

"I'm sure the lord will allow you to go if you have a proper reason to go the Capital, My Lady." Clyde replied. "There is to be gathering of the younger nobles in the capital on occasion of Duke Wier's Grandson's coming of age ceremony. 

It would not be out of the norm for you to attend." He suggested.
