"Are you alright?" Quinlan asked as soon as he approached the little monkey.

But she didn't seem fit to exchange words just yet. Her eyes did get shone on by powerful ionized beams of light, after all. Rather, it was a miracle she was still in one piece.

It took her two minutes of rolling and growling in pain before she finally recovered enough to speak. "Haa... M-Master... my eyes hurt!"

"Of course they will. You shot yourself in the eye!" He reprimanded. "Did you forget about the things I told you before? Not pointing the muzzle toward anyone? That "anyone" includes yourself, idiot."

He could only blame her childlike curiosity for suddenly peeking down a charging blaster, but he thought he was partly at fault too, since he didn't fully explain how the blaster works.
