"They want a taste of us..."

"Legendary bloodline" The human female exclaimed in shock and fear.

"Damnit" Fred cursed out loudly, his fist was clenched and he was shaking due to anger and disbelief.

A Legendary rank bloodline is an extremely powerful bloodline, any bloodline that is sentient and can speak is either legendary rank or above.

if they don't have the mist's dangerous effect on them, then maybe they can take on the hoard and fight through a path to escape, but without energy and their bloodline abilities, their fate has been sealed. They are all as good as dead now.

In this world, this world people gain magical abilities by acquiring bloodlines and increasing body strength by absorbing different labyrinth beast genes.

The known bloodline ranking is about 18 in number. And they go along with the 18 levels of the great labyrinth.

4. LEGENDARY RANK

5. MYTHICAL RANK

13. DEFIED RANK

14. IMMORTAL RANK

15. DIVINE RANK

16. CELESTIAL RANK

17. DEMI-GOD RANK

18. GOD RANK

While the last known rank is the God rank, it is speculated that there can be a higher rank than God level, not many have evolved that far, and those who have are more than a million years old.

As for gene ranking, there are four known genes...

A class gene, S class genes, SS class genes, and SSS class genes

Dragovic is at epic rank, the rest of the group of survivors are either in Surpasser or Evolver rank.

As for the Dragon God, before his death, he was at the Demi-God rank, so he is considered God-level, though not fully a god yet.

With the bloodlines of the Bronze-armored buffaloes at Legendary rank, and with the buffaloes not being affected one bit by the mist, fighting against the buffaloes is out of option, as that is a sure death wish.

While they don't want to, it's not like they can simply escape, there's nowhere to hide, they are surrounded, and buffaloes inch their way closer with every passing second.

"Damn it!" Fred cursed, if not that the most also restrained their ability to fly with their draconic wings, he would have taken off to the sky and escaped in an instant, but such is not possible with the current circumstances.

"All dragons, switch to berserk form fast" he yelled.

Seconds passed but nothing happened, it became obvious that they couldn't change to their top form.

Fred fell to his knees, looking at the mist around him with pure confusion, "What the hell is with this mist, it clogged our connections to our draconic forms too"

He soon regained control of his emotions and stood up, clenched his teeth, and stretched his hands straight. With a quick and forceful motion, he held them stiff and rigid, causing the claws to rapidly elongate out of his fingers.

Despite their small size, the claws looked thick and metallic.

He roared, and began sprinting madly towards one side of the herd, as he did so, he shouted madly to the group behind him, "This is the only way, If you want to survive you have to fight your way through!"

Not bothering to stop Fred, Dragovic said, "There is another way."

His declaration prompted the group apart from Fred who was far from ear reach, to turn at Dragovic. Their gazes were thick and filled with unsaid questions.

"You have a way to survive this ambush, spit it out," One of the Dragons asked threateningly.

"The way is... Not to fight" Dragovic shrugged.

"Such Insolence! you have the mind to joke in this situation. You must be crazy" The human female, the only human in this group of dragons yelled out in a fit of anger.

"I am serious about this"

"Are you suggesting we be sitting ducks instead, that we should relax and wait for death?!"

This time, everyone was on Fred's side, after all, with their current circumstances, the only option left is to fight their way through. When Dragovic suggested another option, they thought that they would be given a brilliant option that lay undetected, but what they received was a lame joke. Even Dane, couldn't help but begin to think what was going on in Dragovic's head for him to utter such nonsense.

A mysterious smile appeared on Dragovic's face as he replied, "I never suggested that.".

Breaking the formation and walking casually forward to meet the herd that was inching their way closer with every leap, he continued, "The Bronze-armoured buffaloes are rare, found in the Epic rank of the great Labyrinth. They break out of dungeons because they love and eat metals. Dragon scale, with its high metal content, is a tempting treat for them. With our gathering here, it wouldn't be far-fetched to say the beasts want a taste of us."
