Unfortunately for her, the so-called good-for-nothing Aiden has more secrets than a blackhole. All it took was a few hours after the wedding to make Alexa fall head over heels in love with him. 

As the two swim in their love and romance, Alexa didn't forget her initial plans and her sweet husband was there to make her dream a success. Unbeknownst to the two, their one mistake of taking back Alexa's company will trigger enormous troubles they must deal with in order to keep their lives.

Alexa's eyes rounded, and she quickly grabbed his hand, ready to drag him out, but Aiden wouldn't budge. "Hold on, wife, don't be so hasty." He said with a straight face and then sat himself on the sofa, saying, "I came for your parents. We've been married for months and still haven't gotten their blessing." He smiled as he looked at his beautiful mother-in-law. "

"It's okay, Alexa. He's here already. We might as well listen to what he has to say." The woman glanced at her sleeping husband before sitting down.

After everyone was seated, Aiden, with his lips thinned into a smile, spoke first, eyes on Alexa, who was also watching him with a glare in her narrowed eyes.

"Mrs. Quinn, my marriage with your daughter was a pleasant one. We had quite the fun, including testing some guns and bullets in the neck…" Out of reflex, Alexa covered her injury, forgetting she was wearing a turtleneck and a jacket.
