In a more satisfying way

Alora eagerly greeted Magnus as he entered, finding him reclining on the mattress. She approached him on her knees, offering to fetch him some water.

"Yes, please. I could use a drink," Magnus replied.

Alora rose from the bed and swiftly returned with a glass of water, handing it to Magnus, who expressed his gratitude with a nod of thanks.

After Magnus finished the water, Alora promptly placed the glass on the bedside table. Intrigued, she inquired about the vampire hunter's ability to bring someone back from the dead.

"You were correct, Alora," Magnus began, sitting up. "The vampire hunter harbors no ill will toward us; his revenge is against the one who took his family from him," he explained.

"What? His family was murdered? By whom?" Alora was taken aback by the revelation.
