Best Friends

As the time drew closer to Noon, Stefan became increasingly impatient since he couldn't wait to get done with the whole blind date nonsense his parents had set for him.

His mom had woken him up with a text containing the details of the date. Time, venue, reservation number, all except information on the lady he was meeting with, and he wondered why.

Didn't they think he would need to at least know a little about his date? Perhaps her name, her family, what she did, and if possible check her out on Instagram— that had to be it, Stefan thought. His parents didn't want him checking her out and deciding she wasn't worth his time hence they didn't bother to tell him anything about her.

It seemed like because of this date his father had had his secretary cancel most of the engagements on his schedule for the day and now he was just here feeling bored and all he could think about was his so-called blind date.
