Unlike Elma

Sarah's POV:

"Of course, is it okay if I use the kitchen? I am starving already."

Anthony nodded, so I sauntered to the kitchen without the old woman stopping me.

I looked around the kitchen; it was big and clean, and it also had labels on every container.

My mother always said to feel at home in the kitchen before cooking. Grandma's kitchen was so welcoming and also very comfortable.

I took a pot filled with water and placed it in the oven to heat before I heated the waffle maker.

Minutes later, I was done making instant noodles, and waffles topped with whipped cream and fruit.

I served the dining table with three plates before I signaled for Anthony to call his grandma. "Umm, grandma... Come, let's have breakfast," he said, and the old lady scoffed.

"You both plan to kill me with food poisoning?" She sneered. Why would she say such a thing?
