The unspoken tension in the dining room made everyone quiet. All that was heard was the clicking sound of the utensils against the plates. Even when I tried to distract myself with phone, I couldn't.

Finally when the horrendous dinner was over, I took a glass of juice and went to my room. I was about to lock my door when a hand stopped me. I wasn't surprised when I saw that it was Rowan. " There is no way I'll let you sleep here." I gritted out. I was still angry with him. His stalkish ability doesn't didn't make me forget how he abandoned me in the car!

The worst part was that he saw nothing wrong with that. Remembering the grin on his face irked me more.

" We're married, darling. Have you forgotten?" His lips widened, twisting into a teasing smile.

" We are fighting, dear husband. Have you forgotten?" The fact that I had to remind him made me more upset.
