Lily held Maya's hand tightly, taking a step back away from Eloise.

"What's that look on your face, Lily? Is that how you greet an old, not so old friend? I've missed you," the young woman said, fishing out a cigarette from her pocket. One of the men walked towards her and lighted it up.

"When friends meet, they hug, chat about things they missed. I thought we decided to be like sisters," Eloise said, puffing out smoke.

Lily gulped nervously, "Friends don't bring guards when they want to greet each other," she said, looking at the men that now gathered around them.

Eloise opened her eyes, as if surprised. "Oh, my bad. I had to because you see, Raven might have misunderstood my intentions that night during the game, so I wanted to explain to him that it was just a joke..." The woman drawled.
