Inside Augustine's mansion, he sat in his living room waiting for Raven and Lily to arrive after they had called to say they would be coming. When he heard his gate open, he quickly rushed to his door, ready to attack Raven. But when he opened the door, reporters flashed cameras in his face, momentarily blinding him.

Augustine's hand stopped midair, and he turned his face and cursed. "Those damned reporters," he muttered. When he turned to look at them, he smiled. "Please come inside."

Raven and Lily looked at each other and smiled. Augustine was already predictable. Raven knew he would do anything to keep his face in public; anything that would ruin it, he wouldn't do.

Augustine had to keep his anger at bay while he welcomed his worst enemy inside his house.

"Mr. Cashmere, what's your take on the marriage between your daughter and Mr. Ryker? Was it planned from the start?" a reporter asked.
