"The woman that helped you?" Lily asked Maya after they'd moved away from Azalea's room where she was now holding baby Jason closely.

Maya nodded. She was surprised to hear that the woman who had saved her was Lily's mother. "I can't thank you enough for the help you've given me. I mean, you and your family always find a way to help me." She moved forward to hug Lily.

Lily smiled with her eyes closed. "It's okay," she touched Maya's back.

"Actually, Lily," Maya started when she pulled away, "I think I should tell Victor about his child." Her words came as a surprise to Lily. It was not just after Raven's words, but she had given it a thought to give her child the best life. Even if Victor didn't want the baby, he deserved to know.

Lily gave a nod of encouragement. "You're doing the right thing. When are you planning on doing so?"
