The once modern day world is now in utter disrepair. A huge crack like structure suddenly appeared in the sky covering the entire world. Huge amounts of energy scientists term as essence poured into earth totally transforming it. The flora and fauna of our world who were once prey to humanities desires mutated with some even developing unique abilities.

Humanity who once reigned are no longer on top of the food chain. The weak unable to adapt to the infusion of energy lost their intelligece becoming mindless seeking the blood of survivors. This was the cruel reality the remnants of our world have to face; a dog eat dog world.
