Asha bolted out of the house before Arun could even step foot into the garden. She gripped his arm, chuckling and dragging him as he flailed his hand in pitiful resistance. "My turn now. Let's see what jewellery they have in this city!"
Julius watched his friend disappear around a corner, not understanding how Asha had kidnapped him so fast. Then, he chuckled. 'She must have been as eager as we were to explore the city.'
Amused, he went to Louise's room to check on her condition—still unconscious but breathing stably. Unable to help her, he sat crossed legs by her bed, ready to mediate.
However, Adam's solemn voice broke his focus.
"Be ready to leave tonight."
"Eh?!" His eyes snapped open as he leapt to his feet in disbelief and reluctance. "Didn't you say you liked the couple? Why do you want us to leave?"
"Why else? To use the chains." Adam raised his thumb, smirking. "Take the snake's skin and eye, too."
