Chapter Twenty-Five

My heart pounded as the sound of shattering glass filled the air, and I turned to see Troy rising abruptly from his seat, knocking over a nearby bottle in the process. His anger was so palpable that it sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't help but be taken aback by the sudden eruption of emotions.

"Tell me, that's not true!" Troy's voice echoed with a mixture of hurt and rage, causing the guys around us to hurriedly restrain him from approaching Tyrone.

"I trusted you!!" he cried out, the pain in his voice cutting through the tension in the room.

Kate appeared more annoyed than fearful at the commotion Troy's outburst had caused. I was puzzled, trying to make sense of the situation. What could possibly have triggered this outburst from Troy?

"Let me go!" Troy demanded, struggling against the tight grip of his friends.
