"What are you thinking?" Yuden whispered, leaning closer to the shorter young woman's ear.
"Oh, nothing," Zahra forced a smile, tightening her grip on Yuden's arm.
Yuden felt the pressure Zahra applied on him, but he didn't question her. He knew exactly what she was thinking.
"I wish you knew that you are far prettier than her, Princess," Yuden thought, letting out a soft chuckle.
Zahra growled at him. How could he always find a way to laugh when she was stressed? However, this time, his laughter relaxed her.
"Let's keep going," Yuden said, continuing to walk towards the king's throne, where a few additional seats were arranged for the remaining royal family members and an additional seat for Prince Yuden.
Zahra nodded softly.
Although she had practiced walking in high heels, she wasn't accustomed to it. It was a haste but she couldn't stumble and make a fool of herself in front of these people.
