85 — Coronation Ceremony (2)

"Your Majesty," Yasmin knocked at the door of the queen's room.

"Yasmin?" Sameera turned towards the door.

A couple of servants surrounding the queen parted to the side, making way for the higher-ranked maid to enter the room.

Yasmin, although a commoner, was treated with great respect by the palace staff because the queen and every other royal family member treated her with utmost care.

Sameera smiled at the maid as she turned back to face the mirror.

"What brings you here today? You are usually always with Princess Layla," Sameera adjusted the necklace wrapping her neckline.

"Well...." Yasmin glanced towards the servants.

Sameera noticed the uneasiness Yasmin felt and waved her hands dismissively to the maids.

"I think we can resume this later. Leave us alone for now. I will call you back once we are done. And, I hope none of you will dare to eavesdrop at the queen's door." She softly said however her voice stood firm.
