—-This is my first novel, I hope you like it.—
In a world where the supernatural and humanity have long walked parallel paths, the shadows conceal truths that most humans remain blissfully unaware of. Yet, some individuals glimpse beyond the veil, recognizing that they are not alone in this realm.   
Vampires, with their insatiable thirst for blood, lurk in the night; werewolves endure the torment of transformation beneath the full moon, their bodies wracked with pain as they shift; and witches wield formidable magic, casting spells that can alter fate itself. Many have assumed that these creatures—werewolves, witches, and vampires—are the sole inhabitants of the dark, each grappling with their own primal instincts.  
But everything changes with the emergence of Dawn, a Dhampir, whose enigmatic and sorrowful past is shrouded in forgotten memories. In the depths of the forest, a feral siren, once thought to be mere folklore, materializes, intertwining their fates. Their paths have crossed before, under tragic circumstances, yet the details remain lost in the mists of time, leaving them to rebuild the trust that once existed.  
As this reborn Dhampir embarks on a quest to reclaim her fragmented memories, the stakes rise. She must confront a pivotal choice: will she defend her newfound family and the home she has just begun to cherish, or will she succumb to the desire for vengeance, seeking retribution for the agonies of her past life?

The New Journey of a Dhampir

I told Jonathan that I needed to get home.

I watched him get up from his chair and go over to his closet.

He opened the closet door and grabbed a bracelet that had a light green rectangle in the middle with a Scorpio inside of the rectangle.

I watched him come toward me and told me to wear it.

I was confused by the bracelet, but I grabbed the bracelet.

I asked, "What's the bracelet for?"

Then he said, "This bracelet looks like a normal decoration, but it's an advanced technology. It allows the individual of the bracelet to contact another person who's wearing the bracelet as well. I'm going to ask one of the witches to make a potion, so you can go home immediately"

I looked at the bracelet in interest and asked, "This is interesting. Who's the witch that gonna do the magic?"

Then Jonathan told me to follow him, we went into the hall before turning left. I saw a door with a small lion on it.

He knocked on the door before someone yelled, "Come in."

We went through the door, I saw a middle-aged woman with medium grey hair.

She was walking towards us and asked Jonathan, "Mr. Ross, what can I do for you?"

Jonathan said, "Hello, Alex. I need your help with something. Can you make a potion that would allow this young lady next to me to transport from one place to another?"

Then the woman who was Alex looked at me. She smiled and said, "Hello, young lady. Where would you like to go?"

She nodded and told us to wait. As she went in the back through the red curtains, she came out with a container, scissors, and a few herbs as well.

I watched her to one of the tables and asked me, "Young lady, I need a piece of your hair, so I can make a potion."

Suspiciously, I went to the table and grabbed the scissors as I cut a small piece of my hair.

She grabbed the piece of my hair and used the other herbs in the large container while she said some strange foreign words.

I saw her eyes go completely white as the lights in the room went flickering for a few minutes.

I stared in apprehensively and fascination as the lady opened her eyes and turned towards me.

She put the container in my hands and said, "Young lady, you need to think of the home you want to go. Just picture the place and you'll appear there."

I was a little nervous, but nodded my head, then turned my attention to Jonathan. I said, "See you later. Take care of Ivaran as well."

He nodded his head as he said his goodbyes.

As I closed my eyes and thought of my room.

The next moment I felt a strong force in my body and felt blackness in my eyes.

I found myself in my bed as I open my eyes.

I grabbed my phone off my table and saw it was around 4:40 in the morning.

I put the phone away before getting into bed.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep straight away.
