Ryker pulled his sword out of the monster, letting the corpse fall to the ground as he focused on cleaning his sword.
It had been two days since he'd begun traveling with Governor Elis and it had been peaceful for the most part.
A few monsters popped up, but most were low level monsters and easy to take down. It seemed the wyvern had done a good job in getting rid of the high level monsters.
Still, they couldn't relax just yet. The closer they got to the Mors Springs, the more dangerous it would get.
Not only were they facing harsh terrain and high levels of snow, but there was still a risk of a high level monster lurking around.
It didn't help that Ryker's mana levels were low because of the constant use. He knew once he returned home, he was going to feel the backlash.
“Done already?” A voice called out, bringing Ryker back to reality.
He turned away from the dead monster and found Governor Elis heading over to him, ax still covered in blood.
