Two days later, Raquel was in her office going over some details for the upcoming hunting festival when her office door suddenly slammed open. She didn’t bother looking up from her work to know who had entered.
There was only one person Raquel had allowed to get so far.
“How dare you disgrace me like that?!” A shrill voice screamed at Raquel as she continued to work. “Do you think my mother would allow such a marriage to move forward?!”
“Your highness…” A servant called out and Raquel finally looked up.
Princess Faina was standing in the center of Raquel’s office, fuming like a violent volcano, while a servant was trying to get her out. Raquel gave a small nod to the guards outside and they locked the door.
“I see you still lack manners despite your upbringing.” Raquel murmured as she got up from her seat, walking towards the princess. “Perhaps it’s because of your blood.”
“You-” Princess Fania growled, but Raquel interrupted before she could finish speaking.
