“You received word back so quickly…” Raquel gasped in shock.

She thought it would take at least a week for them to get word out and a response back. It’s why she let Ryker deal with it while she focused on the other details of the hunting festival.

“Yes.” Ryker nodded as he pulled out a piece of paper from his inside pocket. “I had Duchess Westerwyn contact the witch working with Priestess Arstia, since it would be the fastest way to get a message to her. I just received the response when checking up on the duchess.”

Raquel took a guess that they used those communication balls that Ryker had shown her. She had forgotten about them, but was glad the crystal balls made things easier for them.

“I see…” Raquel mused. “So what did the priestess say?”
