Intel and Marriage Talks

Two days later, Raquel was quietly enjoying some iced tea Nicole had brought for her. Some delegates from the Eastern Continent had arrived at the palace interested in trade deals with the empire and had brought the drink along with some other things.

It was quite sudden, but getting trade going between the two continents would be good for the empire. She had plans to better the empire, however, it would cost her money she didn’t have.

But if they got the trade deals, Raquel would get the money she needed to build more infrastructure around the empire. The only problem was trade agreements weren’t her thing.

So, Ryker was talking with some of the delegates instead, while she took the time to go over the empire’s military. There were some things she had to look over, especially with the information Xavier had given her yesterday.
