Krish falls for her

"Excuse me,"

Chang Xin entered and went directly towards Krish's table, despite Yifei standing beside him watching his work.

"Put your bag here and sit in here," Krish said, pointing out the tidy table.

Confused Chang Xin wanted to make sure the place he pointed to earlier was "Here?"

"Fast," he rushed her and informed Yifei, "you go first. It will take time to complete."

"It's okay, I will wait." Liu Yifei dragged a chair for herself next to him. That, somewhat, sowed a ruffle over his face. When he noticed Chang Xin was still standing near his table instead of sitting on it, he threw his stare straight at her and mandated,

"Sit!"

"What are you planning to do? I can reach home before dark if only I leave the school now; otherwise, it will become dark before I get home."

Chang Xin tried to make excuses purposefully to escape from his trick. However, what she said was also the truth. It will become dark if she leaves the school later.

"I will drop you; just tell me your father's phone number and..." He paused in the middle of a calm tone and pressurised the demand, "SIT HERE!"

She tried to keep informal with him in tense, "Kri-" But side-eyeing Liu Yifei, she breathed out insecurity, which brought Krish's attention, and she addressed him, "Mr. Krish, I should go home now!"

Krish appeared to sense Chang Xin being uncomfortable around him. He looked back at Liu Yifei. She meets his eyes and says, "Are you going to leave or not?"

"No," she responded with a calm voice.

"Go, she feels insecure around you." He informed her with his eyes.

"Insecure? What am I going to do to her? Don't play dump! I won't leave until she leaves."

"If you don't do it yourself, I will bring her to my room. Your house. What will you do then?"

"Krish!"

"Go!" he expressed his predominant through his potent eyes.

"Since I have to go shopping, I leave Krish."

Liu Yifei stood up half-heartedly, and envious eyes peeked at Chang Xin once before she headed to her table.

Krish was waiting patiently, gazing at Chang Xin, who was looking at Yifei, until she left the staff room.

Yifei left.

Chang Xin jumped and sat on his table. Krish fluttered, rushing his hands to catch her hip. But she landed safely, resting her foot on his handle.

Only then did Krish sigh with ease.

"Aren't you scared that the table might break and you will fall?" Krish asked, bringing his hands together on the keyboard.

"I know you will use your power to save me since I'm your student."

"Like your thoughts," he mumbled and asked, "Tell me your father's name and number."

"Why?" She questioned back instead with puppy eyes.

"Aren't you athletic? Let me join you in the relay race."

"No!"

She clenched his finger, which was about to write her name on the screen, and earned his baffled look in return.

"What are you afraid of?" Asked Krish.

"Nothing. But do not add my name to that list!" She voiced strictly.

"I'm asking why."

"How do I... tell..." she moved her eyeball here and there, wavering to reveal the reason.

"If you don't, I will add your name sooner or later without your permission." Krish casually declared.

"No!" She opposed his words vehemently and frowned at him.

"Then tell me the reason," Krish constrained her.

She gave thought to his words for a while, and after that, she leaned in front of him, a little closer to his face. She demanded, "With what will you return your favour if I tell you the reason?"

Additionally, her eyebrow bounced with a questionable gaze.

"Whatever you ask except the sentence 'Do not add my name to that list'," he replied in a hoarse voice.

"I can't even win the third prize. The organisation had threatened our principal by saying he couldn't go further with his business if the school brought me to the race."

With a despairing look on her face, she enunciated the reason.

"So... the principal had never allowed me to go to the game. He ordered me to play within our campus only since I had extraordinary power to win the race earlier than anyone."

"Tell me your father's name and phone number," Krish repeated as if he didn't lean ear to her explanation.

"Are you deaf or something else? If I go, they will seal our school effortlessly. And no one can save our school from them." Chang Xin tensed.

"Do you trust me?" Asked Krish, looking into her eyes.

"No!"

She replied shortly, dumping him within a second.

He couldn't help but sigh. "Hey, little girl-"

"I'm not a little girl. My name is Chang Xin." She pressurises each word with anger.

"Okay, Chang Xin. I will take care of that organization. Tell me your father's phone number."

"No, you don't seem to understand that. I go home," she said, jumping off the table.

Instantly, before her feet took a turn, he grabbed her waist and pulled her onto him. As she glared at him, he said in his handsome voice, "Give me your father's number. I can help you get the first prize, and at the same time, I will save our school. Trust me."

"No!"

She dodged his assurance effortlessly.

"Chang Xin, trust me. I can!"

"Krish! This is not something you can manage with your power."

Chang Xin talked back.

"What do I do to make you trust me?" Krish asked immediately, adjusting her shirt that had been exposing her naked hip.

"..... Ask permission from the principal first. Only then will I do as you say."

"Do not take back your words; promise me." He showed her palm. She promised firmly.

"Okay, wait here. I will be back." He tried to stand up.

She pressed him back to his seat immediately and sat on him, facing him as her leg hung through the armchair's cape.

"What's the matter now?" Asked Krish.

"Not now! I have to go home now," Chang Xin informed him.

"I will drop you. We will leave after applying to the race; wait here!" He convinced her.

"No, the principal will take more time to think. I should be at home before 8." She forced him to do as she wished.

Seeing Chang Xin's flawless, fair-skinned face closer like this and the evening's glooming sun rays, Krish appeared to be adoring her anguish.

Despite wanting to win the game, Krish's hand raised itself all the way to her soft cheek and braced it blandly as his eyes couldn't help but admire her glamourous eyes that appeared to become competitors with his incomparable eyes.

"Chang Xin," his gentle voice called her softly.

She responded with an innocent blink that attracted him even more.

"Will you love me?"

She gave another confused, innocent blink.

"Until my death."

She subtly narrowed her eyes at his unconscious state.

"Krish?"

"...mmm?" He responded without his knowledge.

"Did you just mention love?" Asked Chang Xin as Krish stroked her hair, just to admire her entirely.

He shook his head immediately and asked, as if nothing had happened, "What?"

"You said you wanted me to love you." Chang Xin extricated himself from his bewilderment.

"Did I?"

His question ruffled her brows and nose. She got off his lap and kicked his knee, causing him to scream in pain.

"Do not play like this again, Krish!" She yelled, picking up her school bag.

"Chang Xin, I just asked because I can't remember what I said while admiring you." Krish openly confessed, causing Chang Xin's jaw to drop in astonishment.

"No... This might also be another plan to win the game. Do not fall for this, Chang Xin." She thought to herself.

She slapped her cheek herself. "Wake up!"

"Wake up!"

"Wake up, Chang Xin!"

She did unravel from stunning, pursing her lips angrily before stomping, "I will never fall for your cheap trick, fool."

She veered around, heading outside, as Krish chuckled at her clueless boldness.

His comment before shutting the computer was, "Stupid girl.”
