Before long, days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into 10 long years. She gained the name 'Alo' from her mother, learning that monster races like her own didn't give names at birth; traits inspired them. Alo, always wanting to be helpful, was named after her grandmother, a healer.
Over the 10 years, Alo learned several things. One notable skill was speaking Beast speech, a result of her stats. When intelligence points were added, she could select a language to learn, but she discover until later she could simply unlock one per intelligence point she had.
Her current stats read:

She diligently did daily quests to gain XP, despite her level being locked at 10. The quests varied, with some providing minimal XP and others more, depending on the challenge.

Help someone - 4/5

Alo pondered her quests, considering the best approach. She had Mr. Nix's tree in mind for finding an egg, as the system hadn't given her an impossible quest before. Speaking Beast speech allowed her to communicate with animals, like the pair of wild birds she helped with their nest. Animals seemed naturally drawn to her, possibly due to an unread status effect.
Still having time to complete the tree quest, she still had to greet someone and help someone. Greeting them wasn't a problem. It was finding someone to help. She knew she could just ask her mother if she needed help with something. But she also knew that if it required work, the system would reward her with bonus XP.
Like there was a time she had to help her mother make breakfast, and it only gave her the normal 5 XP. And another time where she had helped a kid find his lost toy. It took hours, and the system rewarded her for it.
Though these days the system would always repeat the same thing now...
'Attention: your level has reached its max. Please RankUp to unlock level progression,' she would say in her head in a mocking robotic tone.
And the only requirement for Rank Up was killing a Goblin. She, in her years, wondered if the others had skills and Rank-ups and levels. Maybe the younger children of the village may help her if she helped them.
She quickly devised a plan, finding her mother was easy enough. "Mother!" Her sing-song voice would ring out. Having a 30 in charisma really helped her in her year. Growing up beautiful according to the villagers. She personally couldn't tell, as she just looked like a younger cat person with a silver mane to herself. But one thing she did notice was her own voice.
Like a melody of heaven would ring anytime she sang. So she quite enjoyed doing it. "Mother, are you at home?" Crying out again to finally get an answer. "I am in here preparing tonight's dinner. Do you want fish or..." She was yelling back only to be cut off by a brooding voice from another room. "Fish!" Her father piped in. A man of few words. "Hello, father! Hello, mother!" They had been out of the house and not had the chance to greet them.
[Quest complete Say greeting - 5/5] [Attention: your level has reached its max. Please RankUp to unlock progression]
Alo quickly made her way to her mother after mocking the voice in her head again for the millionth time. Her mother preparing a stew of some kind. The smell of it wafting in the air, mixing with all the other smells of the house. One of the few perks of her race was having a good sense of smell. She had guessed this may have been one of her hidden skills. Just being locked didn't seem to keep her from using it.
"Mother, do you know what a goblin is?"
