In the mortal world many of the wealthiest people are bankrupted because they don't a expectation of their work.

There is a famous story about a mortal small shop owner who didn't have massive profits so he had small expectations and just invested his small monthly profits back to his business thinking he would just inherit it to his son and after 40 years of this repetition his shop turned into a franchise that span the whole empire and made him the wealthiest person in the empire.

In the cultivation world many come with great motivation and that is good but most of them also have a sky high expectations and after time the real world hits them and they become miserable so they think that you have to be lucky or talented better yet you have to do something drastic to become stronger and they end up dying on some ditch or become bootlicker for someone stronger to get better resource but mostly end up empty.

Happiness in your life is the key motivator to wake up every day weather you are a lowly mortal or a powerful cultivator and the moment you loss it your motivation will go down as your expectation goes down which ultimately leads to procrastination about your pitiful life and to depression so great that you might never come out of it in your long lifetime.

This is the main cause of suicide in the world from all walks of life. In that it one way or another it cuts our growth short.

Ken knew he had many things going for him and that if he put himself in risky but lucrative places he could skyrocket but he would one day ultimately fail so went on the somewhat boring and long term which was depressing but he had the patience to wait it out. 

But it didn't mean ken would just slowly accumulate and live a happy but boring life. He had a better idea that made life exciting without the great risk and that was to prepare for unknown situations that come around the corner that nobody can predict by saving his resources and keeping a watchful eye for once in a lifetime opportunities that is all around us.

Ken snapped out of his thoughts and checked his progress into the inner stage of body refining. After the outer stage is complete people start to focus on the organs and in each stage people focus on one of the organs to be the stage holder.
