World Of Chaos
"You are awake now," Flux Fire said as it gently dropped the carefully gathered herbs onto the floor, each leaf and root meticulously chosen for their unique properties. It then swiftly flew towards Long Chen.
"Where were you? I was looking for herbs when I noticed something strange was going on with you," Flux Fire said, concern lacing its voice as it examined Long Chen. Its fiery form seemed to ripple with agitation.
Long Chen, still somewhat dazed by his newfound powers, tried to piece together the events. "What!" Flux Fire said with wide eyes.
"What happened?" Long Chen asked, alarmed by Flux Fire's sudden shout.
"You...," Flux Fire began, looking at Long Chen as if he had just uncovered a formidable and enigmatic creature. "You have unlocked a chaos core, Long Chen. You managed to cultivate the Eternal Flame and upgrade your inferno physique to the next level in just a few hours," Flux Fire said, its tone filled with a mixture of awe and disbelief.
"A few hours? I am sure it has been three days since I cultivated in the world of chaos," Long Chen said, looking at Flux Fire with a perplexed gaze.
"I am sure of it; just a few hours have passed since I left," Flux Fire asserted, its flames trembling with intensity.
"I guess time flows differently in the world of chaos," Long Chen said. He couldn't help but marvel at the notion that time flows differently and he gets to spend three days there where only a few hours passed in the real world.
"You went to the world of Chaos?" Flux Fire asked with wide eyes.
"Yes," Long Chen said with a puzzled look at Flux Fire's unreasonable reactions.
"I even met the guardian and he gave me this" Long Chen said as he showed Flux Fire the white crystal pentagonal badge the voice gave him.
"Wait, you met the guardian?" Flux Fire asked.
"Yes? Do you know him?" Long Chen asked.
"How could I know him," Flux Fire said avoiding Long Chen's inquisitive gaze.
Seeing his awkward look, Long Chen is sure Flux Fire must know something. "He must be hiding something from me," Long Chen thought inwardly.
"I have an idea, why don't we go to Chaos World, since you are my partner beast you can come with me. There we can meet the guardian and since there are abundant Chaos qi there, you can cultivate faster" Long Chen said as he pointed to the Badge.
"There will be no need for that, I can cultivate with you faster," Flux Fire said with a guilty chuckle.
"I found the herb to help the white-haired lady" Flux Fire said quickly changing the topic. He quickly went to the herb on the floor.
"I will make a potion with it now" Flux Fire said as he released his alchemy flame, a pale green azure flame using it to refine the herb.
"You have another type of flame?" Long Chen asked. He thought Flux Fire had only one type of flame.
"I cultivate the 99 paths of flame, only eternal flame and azure flame are unlocked now," Flux Fire said with pride.
"Don't you need a cauldron to make pills and potions?" Long Chen asked. All the alchemists he has met in his past life use cauldrons but the Flux Fire method is different, he is refining the pill mid-air.
"With my immense experience in concocting pills and high spiritual energy, it will be a shame if I need a cauldron to brew a mid-grade potion," Flux Fire said as he controlled the flames.
Alchemy flames are different from Eternal flame. Where Eternal Flame is a wild, violent and good battle, Alchemy Flame is gentle which makes it suitable for Refining pills.
All alchemist develop their alchemy flame when they begin their journey as alchemists. They cultivate from a tiny spark till it can refine the pill.
Out of all the types of flame, alchemy flame is the hardest to cultivate since it requires strong mental energy and high spiritual power.
"It is done now," Flux Fire said as a translucent pale silver-coloured liquid flowed mid-air.
"Quick, bring your jar" Flux Fire said with urgency.
Long Chen quickly handed one of the sealed jars he brought in advance to store the herb for his mother.
Flux Fire controlled the flow of the brewed potion into the jar.
Flux Fire walked to the white-haired woman who looked at Flux Fire with an expressionless face with the jar
"You are heartless, you restrict her movement by chaining her with your holy qi," Flux Fire said as he shook his head in dissatisfaction.
"You can release her now" Flux Fire said looking at Long Chen.
Long Chen waved his hands and the holy qi entered his body into his sea of qi making the white-haired woman fall with a thud.
"Hey, can you be more gentle" Flux Fire said in annoyance but Long Chen did not care.
Long Chen peered at the white badge in his hand, turning it over and over, studying the intricate patterns etched into its surface. He tried infusing holy qi into it, and to his bewilderment, his energy dissipated without a trace. He repeated the process, experiencing the same baffling phenomenon. Then, with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation, he covered his entire hand with holy qi and touched the badge.
His hand slipped through the badge as though it were an intangible, ethereal substance, and a cold shiver ran down his spine. "An independent space?" Long Chen mused aloud, his intrigue growing. He felt something hard and solid within the intangible space and reached for it.
Long Chen pulled out a familiar bottle with five drops of pure, glistening spirit water. The sight of it brought a nostalgic smile to his face.
"I almost forgot about you," Long Chen said as if addressing an old friend. He marvelled at the radiant glow of the spirit water, its brilliance unrivalled.
Flux Fire, who had just finished feeding the white-haired lady with the pill he had concocted, was drawn to the mesmerizing radiance emanating from the bottle. "Is that what I think it is?" Flux Fire asked, its fiery form flickering with an eager and covetous look.
"Yes, the guardian gave it to me after I passed his test," Long Chen replied, a sense of pride swelling within him.
Flux Fire immediately snatched the bottle with a coveted look. "Five drops of spirit water, give it to me. I will repay you with any cultivation manual you desire."
