"Of course, I'm afraid!" Clark said frankly. "That's why I have to keep getting stronger!"

The two exchanged a glance, and Kevin didn't say anything further. He walked to the side, lost in thought.

"You actually didn't have to answer that question!" Richard kindly reminded.

"It's okay. That's genuinely how I feel. No one wants to be killed and buried far from home, but everyone faces various dangers. The only way to safely survive is to make yourself stronger!" Kevin said, resolute.

"Well said!" Ava walked over at that moment. She had been warming up to Clark more and more lately, and hearing him speak like this only increased her admiration.

"Alright, everyone gather around!" Kevin called from the side.

"I have some information that I must share with everyone!" Kevin said after some contemplation. "To be honest, I don't know much about this island!"

Some looked surprised, but no one spoke.
