"For the one with the captivating smile. From, a secret admirer." His voice soothing as his eyes suddenly glowed in golden, which surprised Amara.
As the man spoke, Amara's heart raced with a mix of curiosity and intrigue. She tried to speak, but his finger again, on her lips silenced her. The words echoed in her mind, "A secret admirer."
So many questions swirled in her mind as she gazed into his eyes, searching for answers.
She remembered, he was the man from the...wedding!! Daniel Richardson.
He did have the...golden eyes.
However, how did he know about the message accompanied with the gift?
Zamiel? Or.....Daniel?!
"Who are you?" she finally managed to whisper.
The man's smile widened, mysterious yet comforting. "All in good time, the one you were looking for!!" he replied cryptically. "But for now, just know that I'm here to ensure you find what you're looking for."
Amara couldn't comprehend it, here to ensure her finding what she's looking for?!
And, she was looking for him??
With a grimace she pulled up herself, pushing him off of her, "What do you mean?" she asked, her brows furrowed in confusion.
He chuckled softly. "All will be revealed in due time. Until then, cherish every moment, Amara."
With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Amara standing there, bewildered yet strangely hopeful.
She watched him walk away until he halted, taking a look at her again with a smile, "It's Zamiel!" he said with a wink before vanishing into thin air right infront of her.
Amara was too stunned to speak, her legs stepping back unintentionally at the sudden imbalance she felt by his act! How did he just.... disappear that way?
Was that magic??
She couldn't shake off the enigmatic feeling she felt while being around him.
Zamiel.
The mysterious man who took a sudden entry in her life.
What do you intend to do, Zamiel?!
************
Amara later joined the remaining classes, however, her complete focus was the man now.
He did have golden eyes, and she was sure he was the man from the wedding night, how can she forget that smile?!
So if he indeed was Daniel Richardson and she indeed time travel, how did he come to her?! She remembered in no way of her having a knowledge of him in past two years. Why did he even referred himself as Zamiel then?!
Everything was confusing.
She failed to hear anything that was taught by the professors.
After finally having herself free from the clutches of college, she met Sarah and Ralph, they had a normal conversation with her which again didn't have her interest. She didn't even think of to explain when Sarah wondered why did she bring a car, knowing her uncle and aunt wouldn't allow for that easily, as she just gave a shrug for that, "I'm getting late, need to pick up mom and dad as well, see you guys later!!" she hurriedly left.
Sarah couldn't understand what was happening, "Do you understand it?!" she questioned to Ralph without looking at him as she watched Amara's car disappear slowly, her hand still waving at her.
Ralph who as well was waving his hand to the departing Amara, turned to look at Sarah. "I do!"
Sarah turned as well, "What did you understand?!"
He nodded as if getting himself ready to speak the unknown, as he looked away up into the sky with a deep breath, his hands resting to his bag's handle, "I understand that in your trial to understand the unnecessary, I'll be getting home late!!"
Sarah rolled her eyes hitting him hardly on the shoulder.
"Ouch, it hurts, devil!!" Ralph screamed in pain.
"Better not summon the devil again then," she said with a sweet smile, "come, let's go!"
Ralph with a smile shook his head as he followed her to her car, her dropping him at his house shortly after.

Amara later picked up her parents from the hospital, they already felt tired, and seemed so as well. Amara could sense it, and so, instead of getting directly to home, she drove to the nearest restaurant, wondering her parents.
"What's with this now, little demon?!" Harry playfully questioned.
"You both look tired, let's have dinner out for today!" Amara said with ease as she parked the car.
Harry couldn't help but smile while Isobel nodded doubtfully, "Seems like someone finally is gaining some conscience!!"
Amara winked at her mother, "Finally, yeah!!"
Isobel chuckled while Harry let out a head-shake with a smile.
After her ordering the food, they had the meal together.
"Is there something you want to say?!" Isobel asked wondered.
Amara took up her water glass, "Why would you think so?"
Harry shrugged, leaning forward to whisper in secret, "Surprising the treat, ahead the shock!"
"Dad!!" Amara frowned.
Harry laughed leaning back into his seat, "Alright, just kidding!"
She pouted looking away, gulping down the water in a go before gently placing the glass on the table, looking at her parents, "Precisely," she nodded, "I do have something to say!"
Isobel nodded back, her nod stating a 'I knew this was coming up!!', "Come on, let it out!!" she demanded.
Amara took a deep breath, her hands resting on the table as she leaned forward, "I want to assist you both in work for some days!!"
And.....that was quite surprising.
"What do you mean?!" Isobel really wondered.
"I am wishing to work with you guys in hospital for some days, if it doesn't bother you?"
Harry and Isobel exchanged a look before the man cleared his voice, "Amara, aren't you nearing to the final exams? Why would you risk your study now by the sudden practice?"
Amara didn't respond, and they could see she was sticking to the point somehow.
Isobel smiled, "Look dear, your exams are in the corner of the month, don't you think you should study well now rather thinking of work?"
"Mah..."
"Alright, helping us!!" Isobel corrected, "However, after the course, you are free to start your practice, aren't you? Who would stop you?!" Isobel tried to convince her with care.
Harry nodded in acceptance, "What your mother is saying is completely acceptable," he said softly, "you can work with us for a life after you finish your studies!!"
Life?
She better not believe in it!
Amara took a deep breath, "It's just about few days, I've already made myself prepared for the finals, and I feel like I need some inspiration for the boredom I'm experiencing lately."
"Besides," her eyes searched theirs', "wouldn't practical knowledge work better than the bookish one?!"
They didn't know what to say more, and as though convincing themselves with a 'Just a matter of few days!!', they accepted with her, with a sigh and a slight nod.
Amara smiled relieved, "Thanks mah, thanks pah!!"
Isobel and Harry noticed how relieved she was after them accepting with her.
Amara with the last sip of water, stood, "I'll wait for you guys at the exit!!" she said before hurrying out, probably getting out to remove the car from the parking area.
"Something's definitely strange with her, recently!!" Isobel expressed her concern with her husband once her daughter went away.
Harry though was silent, secretly agreed, his daughter surprisingly apologized for her actions suddenly, she had chose a private celebration over the public one, and now wishing to assist them in hospital despite the nearing exams, those which she never neglects.
Something definitely was odd, for, they almost could consider her behaviour to be a matured one only if her stubbornness had not been present still.
After they took care of the bill, and went out, Amara was already waiting for them. With a smile, she waved her hand at them as though saying to get in.
Them with a smile got in and she began to drive.
She though was unsure about her own situation, one thing was for sure, she has two goals.
One!
To protect her parents.
And ....
'All will be revealed in due time. Until then, cherish every moment, Amara.' the man's voice echoed again.
Two!
To cherish the moments!!
After reaching home, her parents felt tired enough, all they wanted was a good sleep. As they were to go to their room, Amara called out for them, making them halt, and look back.
Amara stared her parents in silence, their gaze searching hers in wonderment.
"I love you both!" She confessed, "A lot!!"
Her parents seemed to be surprised by the sudden statement, wondering what made her say this out now.
"I mean it, without you guys, I cannot imagine my life quite in peace."
"What's with our daughter all of sudden, behaving strange and all?!" Isobel asked with a smile, locking her arm with her husband's as she looked at Amara.
Amara shrugged with a faint smile, "Felt like...to say!!"
"Then, you should know that we love you too, a lot!!" Harry said with a smile, tapping on his wife's arm as though assuring her.
Amara chuckled holding back the tears, "I know" she nodded, "I do know!"
With a sigh, she waved both of her hands at them, "Goodnight!!" deciding not to disturb their sleep today.
They took a moment to respond, before just with a nod and smile getting into their room, feeling still mysterious about their daughter's sudden change in behaviour.
************
Amara found herself seated on the bench in the balcony that's attached to her room, her special place.
Whenever she felt low, she would find herself here, staring up the sky, gazing the stars and the moon.
As she kept watching up the sky, her hands carefully held the box she received as the gift.
Amara felt lost while the silence only stated her uncertainty.
In instance, she sensed the same again, the smell of petrichor.
Why does she keep sensing it? From years?!
Perhaps, she really likes it and her senses trick her someway to make her feel better always.
"Too much on mind?" A sudden deep voice reached her from beside, taking her aback.
Amara immediately turned to look at who it was and the sight startled her, her soon escaping a scream as she almost immediately got up stepping away from the man.
Zamiel chuckled at her reaction, shaking his head with a smile at her. "Counting stars?!"
Amara though, remained silent.
After moments of silence, she relaxed, "You... You startled me." she complained low, feeling uncertain about his whole existence, fear somehow taking over her.
"I apologise, I didn't mean to!" Zamiel sincerely said.
He tapped on the bench twice, asking her to take back her seat in silence.
Yet, she remained reluctant.
The way he suddenly appeared beside her, and how he with ease disappeared today afternoon, remained mysterious, raising various questions within her.
"Just who are you??" Amara finally questioned, gathering up her courage.
